Hi all just wanted to post up the results of my power runs yesterday after the boost controller was plumbed in and set up it should be boosting around 0.9 bar on the road because its a uk auto theres no power hold button so we couldnt really do a full throttle run. the boost looks better now and made a modest 15hp and there was a tiny amount of det at about 3.5k but bobs timing light had been smashed to bits a few days ago so we couldnt check it, it really needs mapping now which should be happening in the next few weeks it looks pretty good to me but tbh i have no idea how a zed graph should look so thoght id ask you guys if it looked ok? cheers guys

I want to try and aviod the heavy clutch tbh ive got carbonetic type r in the civic and its silly how heavy it is, will the top pic handle 370-430 ish ok? Im not planning full throttle launches at pod any time soon lol

i do have a nasty habit of racing 330 bemers and the like off the lights lol ive been looking at the exeddy stage 1 i figure if i put one in now i wont need to worry if i decide to upgrade the tubs at some point

cams look pretty aggressive to me, ive got a set of weiscos in my civic and they have a similar stamped number on the face but cant be 100% sure

wow didnt even know you could get one like that in a car!! is there any point in havin one?

hi all im planing on a manual conversion and was wondering what clutch is gonna best suit the car, after the conversion im planning on getting the car mapped by fc tuning so im thinking the car should be around the 370hp mark any ideas/recomendations? cheers Nick

ok nice one i might give it crack myself any idea how long it takes, im a lift engineer so not a total noob with a set of spanners having said that ive never taken on anything like this before lol

really? do you need to change the ecu or is it just a mechanical swap?

Hi all ive just bought a manual conversion and was wondering if theres anyone in the south east london area who could help out doing the conversion or even a garage that comes recommended? (id take it to zedworld but its a bit of a mission from were i am) I dont mind getting my hands dirty and can easily get my hands on a ramp but having never done one before im not sure what id be letting myself in for!! cheers for the help Nick

Sorry im only askin coz the AT and IT are the same most likely meaning they didnt put the temp probe in the air filter like they should? Did they hook up afr/boost?

That dont look right are u sure the dyno was set up properly? Have u got a printout showing boost/afr?

Sorry to hear that mate there are some dodgy b*sterds out there, it looks like maybe there was some sort of heat sheild or something bolted to it is it a tapped hole? If its a dead hole im not really sure what to suggest you cant really leave it there and u def cant just have a hole in the side of the housing :s

I dunno about zed turbos specificly but ive never seen a turbo with a dirty great bolt throgh the compressor housing! At the least id have thoght ud get slight boost leak at worst if that washer snapped from being over torqued itd go strait into the intake followed eventualy by the bolt! Weres it from?

Mine does the rev chasing i think its to make the down changes less jerky does it still kick down ok? I had my base idle jump up after i installed a new tps try unplugging the large plug from the tps with the ignition on for about 30 secs that should reset the base idle?

i wish, it was one of the cars steve mapped, i was there for the first few sessions with the car its mint and its the reason i decided to buy one!!!! i dunno if the guy who ownes it is on here tbh

yea its a good day, im looking to get mine mapped soon as well i know steve at fctuning and hes the only one id trust mapping my cars ive seen him do literaly hundereds of cars and never seen a comback. The mapping normaly takes a few hours (by the time youve had the car strapped and chatted to steve for a while) so if you got about 10 cars 2gether im sure you could fit in the mapping at the end?
