Looks like it had been spun and damaged the off side front corner and near side rear corner looked like it was damaged, on a K plate. :-(

4 of us have been on mine at times and 3 of those professional mechanics and all of us being motorsport mechanics with the use of a very nice garage with all the gear. Still think it's going to be closer to 12 months than the 3 I first thought!!!!!!!

The catch tanks have breathers on them they are not sealed systems if it’s done correctly, we run catch tanks on our race and rally cars. I have seen all sorts used including coke cans and plastic bottles, the catch tanks are there just to catch and excess that escapes. Daz.

Sills done and due to the time off year keeping the car off the road until next year now.:sad: But this means it's going to be in the body shop over winter being done and that means it's dry and warm, so hopefully by spring next year I will have saved a Z and a bloody big smile on my face and meet up with some of the members???:cool3: Daz.

New tyres tonight and changing all the fluids, new diff seal and welding the new inner and outer sills on and cam belt, water pump and pulleys and then MOT tomorrow ready for strip down for paint!!!!!! Busy and late night tonight me thinks!!!!:wacko::wacko::surrender: Daz.:sleep1:

It was an 10.9 an the bottom end let go at about 168 on the 1km run!!! Fastest 60 feet all day as well!!! Missed gear caused the damage so he's had an identical engine built as the yellow one that won!!!! Bob next year park up with us and any help just shout mate.
