  1. It was just an idea, ideally we could do with more general traders that are willing to help with the prizes, don't have to be £500 worth but maybe a few nice little prizes ect I know what you mean by numbers but not all online are subbed members on sxoc
  2. Can't we start having something like this, whole load of useful goodies in there http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?559713-SXOC-Winter-Giveaway
  3. Loads of kits out there for pulsars, willwood, ap, ksport always some for sale aswell
  4. This is what I've bought seems real good quality http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?sbk=1&nav=SEARCH&itemId=271152792483
  5. Ok my advice is don't strip to much off straight away as once it's all off and after a while if not much progress is happening you can lose faith in the whole thing as it doesn't look like a car no more with everything stripped if you get what I mean, Ok jacking front end use the front subframe Rear either diff or there's 2 jacking points just inside of the sill at the rear it's a little hump in the floor with a slit in the middle Tools you don't need a great deal to strip a car essentials are: 10mm socket and spanner 12mm socket and spanner 14mm socket and spanner 17mm socket and spanner 19mm socket and spanner Philips screwdriver Hammer Breaker bar Any other tools a bonus
  6. No real point of changing to braided all the way through unless your going to be using a race pedal box ect, might aswell just use copper line, if you do do this you'll need just over one roll of copper line if your going to change every single line, need quite a few male 3/8th fittings about 15 or so
  7. I think about 4 meter roll if your doing all 3 lines ie feed, return and breather maybe abit less if you leave the breather/vent line which is what I do
  8. Yes braided fuel lines front to rear is fine,it won't affect anything, I'm just about to do this to mine as I rebuild the whole back end
  9. It's great working on bobs car, trying new things and seeing it come together, also it will be great to help Pete out with his slicktop getting it to where he wants it to be, and in any other spare time getting my own zed built ready for next year so busy busy I'm sure all the little changes we've made to bobs car will help in getting the car bob wants, can't wait to see it back from the body shop looking refreshed
  10. This is defiantly one of my fave zeds, looks stunning
  11. This is the best bit they overheat, engines have died from driving through puddles, that engine suits a 4wd layout or a different body, they are ugly when losing traction. watch out for the hicas too. my brakes were really sh!te too. Engine is more suited to 4wd or different body lol what a load of *****cks nissan designed the zeds body around its amazing vg engine, the swb has more or less 50/50 weight distribution which so many other sports cars don't, a lot of thought and attention to detail went in to the zed Like everyone has said a lot of oh I've heard or my mates mates goldfish best friend had one, more like most of them just couldn't handle the power of the zed
  12. Had this genuine Nardi on my pulsar, but my zed will have a similar to the one above
  13. I wouldn't recommend these I was talking to a few companies who made exhausts and a few other people who say they can damage the engine as you have a free flowing exhaust then a bung that really disrupts the flow, I was told by the guys that made them not to fit one to my pulsar with side exit I made
  14. This is starting to look a little better, if anyone has any preference to time of year ect post it up, Then we can do it in either a few ways, we could travel down to Dover then either get ferry or the tunnel across and then carry on straight through to the nurburgring Or we could stop off in some where like Brussels for the night have a few drinkies then next morning carry on to the ring What do you lot think?
  15. That's more like it, thought more would be wanting to go to be honest
  16. Me n Pete managed abit tonight dropped rear Coilovers off Dropped this off Then off came this And it's now like this at the moment Not bad progress at all really, things are coming along nicely
  17. Going to keep this bumped up to try and keep some interest in it, surely some more people would like to go
  18. Z1 kit 550 torque http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_385&products_id=1834
  19. Bob has a race pedal box so that now sits where the servo was it holds the fluids
  20. Thought I'd add some pics Close up of the wiring loom And drivers side Now looking a little better with it all out Engine bay looking a lot clearer
  21. Use 2.5 alloy tube from eBay the use silicone reducers loads of pipe work on eBay, don't use stainless for intercooler pipes
  22. I'll also be watching this thread with interest lol :whistling::lol:, and nice view
  23. Right guys Only just seen this thread, now I've got replacement rear sills both sides and replacement arches, next week I'm going to go round some companies and see if they can replicate these and see how much it will cost to make a few of them, if that any good to you guys
