  1. Yea if money is tight as long as there's no cracks in it and the rubber is ok ie not perished it should be fine many many people use parts like these from breakers
  2. Yea even if you don't do it for others it alot cheaper than paying someone else to weld the car up, I've had it for a good few years now
  3. I've got a Clarke mig 151te turbo great little welder
  4. Cleaned it up and put a small plate in left the circle as I think that's some kind of drain as it looks a perfect circle as it was the before
  5. Yea a little time consuming getting it just right but well worth doing it properly
  6. So had an hour repairing the sills, wanted longer but had to go n help a mate out But not done bad so far I don't think Hopefully get a few hours after work some days in the week and get it all smoothed off and the other side started
  7. ill repair them and smooth it all do a nice job then refit some sideskirts, shame really as its the only bit of rust on the car
  8. yep what does me though is why people cant be bothered to just get them repaired rather than cover them up, its not big a problem for me as i can repair it myself but others would have to pay for the repairs
  9. Oh well people just cant be bothered to repair so just cover up, ill get my welder out tomorrow

  13. What's the best way of smoothing off the bumpy bit on the standard bumpers the bit at the bottom? Is it a case of just rubbing it down?
  14. If you have knocked out the metal sleeve around the rim you will need the alloy solid bushes as the poly ones don't fit, I've fitted alloy ones

  17. The marche one is socketed as ive already pulled the chip out, Whats the Diag switch, can i just replace the socketed chip?
  18. hey got 2 ecu's with my 300, has anyone got any info on them First one is central 20 racing team remanufacured ecu not socketed The second is a Marche ecu socketed looks like maybe a switchable map aswell?? Can i change the chip in either of these as im looking to buy a CZP chip

  23. Does anyone know if you can get a fibreglass tailgate and lexan rear screen for the 300? Really like to fit one as it would save a shed load of weight, I had one fitted to my s13, and it unbelievable the weight differance Paul
