  1. i wouldn't mind the delay *if* they actually got the network play sorted. That would be a big improvement over GT3 and well worth it. Let's hope the main man says "put it in" maybe that's why it is late. who knows? LOL @ you and Eve online........... never played it. I suppose i ought to broaden my horizons........ :D
  2. Went into toys r us last weekend to get some stuff for the kids ;) and while we were there I looked at the PS2 section. GT4 now due out in March 2005??? WTFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!! :slap: :headvswal Have to wait all this time and it does not even have network play in it. What a 4kup not being released for chrissy. Was REALLY looking forward to that as well ffs. [rant over/] Rob.
  3. http://www.yousendit.com free temporary hosting (7 days) for files upto 1gb  quote from their page "Transferring over 11,324,734,046,208 bytes per day" LOL!! :D how many floppies is that?? pmsl
  4. ok got my ass in gear :mac1: and payed for 6 tickets through paypal.
  5. Yes this Honda is a scrabble wagon :( But I think those Jackson Racing superchargers are well respected in honda Tuning circles.........
  6. Quite a while ago, I was in a queue of traffic, waiting for the lights. Me stuck in left lane (with all other sensible traffic) wanting to go straight on, right lane (right-turn only) is empty save for red chav metro comming down...... Now i get a feeling about this car cause he dont have a right hand indicator on, and sure enough as he gets to the lights just 1/2 car length in front of me, he puts his L/H indicator on and tries to push in front of me. OK, red mist time, i am in 2nd gear, so i just rev the thing and dump the clutch hard :D :D :D wheelspin and tyre smoke him into oblivion slight opposite lock too as the camber pulled me back end towards the kerb.....oh and flick him the bird just to rub it in. I was absolutely pmsl as i roared past... the look on his face said it all....
  7. Is that right? Why would they want you to insure a car you are not going to use?? Have I understood the question correctly?? lol.........
  8. http://s15.yousendit.com/ Free file hosting for upto 1gb files for 7 days i think? HTH Rob
  9. If my name was John Dixon I would throw the V6 lump in the bin and fit an all-aluminium V8 instead.... lol ;) :D :D
  10. I'm sorry to hear this. What can I say? Glad you are not too hurt, and the biker will hopefully be ok to live another day too. Wish you a speedy recovery. Dark, damp nights are a danger to us all. Need to be careful people.
  11. lol.... no ;) i already have 1 zed off the road as a 'winter project'
  12. I have seen worse believe me. Nothing a quick tug (on a jig.....lmfao) wouldn't fix :D You people today... you give up too easily :P
  13. lol vultures.......... ;) That car would be repaired no probs. Chassis legs look ok too. Shame to break it really.
  14. Nice to see everybody, but I had to grab some grub 'cus my lot were all starving. Hoped you would all be there when we came out.... but alas the day was over then. :( :( :( Hope to get my arse to the next one a bit earlier. :slap: Robert & Wendy
  15. OMG??? Like they would really stand in the way singing while the shopping centre is burning?? Some people have to think this shit up to justify their employment methinks..............
  16. OK sorry to drag this one back up, but just spoke to our local race team here at work, and they tried to organize a day at Mallory Park for all their sponsors. All medical staff in attendance, you have as many cars on the track as you want, from 9am till 5pm. All for the sum of £2,000. Sounds a lot, but if you split it between only 20 cars thats £100 each for 8 hours blasting. FFS you would use more petrol than that lmfao There is almost 20 Zeds turning up to the meet tomorrow, so it is not an impossible thing to achieve is it?

The red sideways mobile is in dry dock at the mo. Rusty sills, water leak, gearbox rumble. All to be fixed real soon + big intercoolers, and a few other mods to be added ;)
  19. Love the car Kirbz. That accelleration must be addictive...........Damnit if I had it i would just wanna go WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! on the loud pedal all day lmfao
  20. I voted for ban. I dont need a drink to make me feel good. If I go to the pub, i am happy to drink coke. If i do feel like a pint, then Wendy drives us home. Simple innint. Pubs make more on soft drinks than alcohol btw ;). If some drunk driver run my mrs or kids down there would be hell to pay. Alcohol impairs judgement. FACT. No getting away from it. I have not been in the unfortunate position to have lost a family member through DD, so I feel sorry for you and family clarkey :( :(
  21. Are you serious Iain???? :o
  22. Yes, continuous welds with a mig on sheet steel will banana and warp it. It is quite a viloent proccess (compared to the localised heating of spot/seam welders) and puts a fair bit of heat into the job. But i guess you could get around it by mig weldind 1", moving say 12" away, welding another patch, moving 12" away, welding another patch, go back to first weld point (all the heat should have soaked away now) welding right next to your first 1" section. Repeat until you have a fully welded shell. But one disadvantage of mig over seam welding is you are actually making the car heavier with the mig wire lol. seam welding as in the pic above has no effect on cars weight.
  23. pmsl @ Andy :D John I guess weld 1", miss 1" would be much better than the spot welds. Was it mig or arc? These seam welders don't use a filler rod, they just fuse the two sheets together. lol.......... just remember with zeds though, you can't weld rust :D :D
  24. Seam welding is done with two opposing rollers that roll along the panels to be joined, pinch them together and weld them together in a continuous process. Think of it as a spot welder with rollers... Not sure the Z has this done as standard Andy, as it takes more time than robot spot welders and we all know time=money :( I think rally cars use this process to stiffen up their chassis as the basic step of prepping one for competition use. http://www.baycity.newcor.com/autobodyshop.htm have a look at the 4 copper wheels. That is the welder. HTH Robert.
  25. I 'aint takin' the pi$$ outta anything running 500+hp mate. Well done eagle eyes :D Was it this one by any chance?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18290&item=4506899940&rd=1
