  1. after 4 years of having my teeth shaken about in my head over potholes in the mr2 the autobox is the least of my concerns haha, i'm just enjoying the big cruising capabilities, the roads where i live are shocking but the zed just glides over them :D kinda grown out of driving around like a loony as well, so i'm loving the autobox :D if i do get bored, i 'll convert it to a manual as the car is in pretty good shape :)
  2. cool mate, what colour is it?? thanks for all the comments guys, yeah i'm actually loving the autobox as well :w00t:
  3. cheers for that mate, will deffo get the gearbox oil sorted this week, since i have just taken delivery of my new Zed :) well chuffed, and i'm actually loving the autobox!!!!
  4. cool, loving the twin blow offs :)
  5. oooooh, i do like that, had a HKS on my mr2 for a while, they do sound good, i assume both valves open right at the same time???
  6. hahaha, i like it's intensity :)
  7. would be the same as a screamer pipe on an external wastegate i would have thought :) like this :)
  8. haha, like voodoo or witchcraft :)
  9. ah i see, i was under the impression that the 2 pressures would meet in the exhaust regardless?? if the wastegate gasses were vented to atmos, then would this not keep the backpressure down as well??? not arguing here, i'm just curious, as i don't fully know the ins and outs :)
  10. surely the wastgate gasses being vented out from the system would be better though?? would make a hell of a racket mind you :)
  11. gutting or doing away with the cats would make a huge difference, divorced downpipes even more so, although looking at these ones, i can't see the benefit of them being routed back into the exhaust :(
  12. having them routed right back into the exhaust system kinda defeats the purpose of divorced downpipes in my opinion :)
  13. if the smaller of the 2 wasn't routed back into the exhaust it would make more of a difference, i.e. it was venting right to atmosphere, then i could see the point in this, the wastegate gases would be venting right out, giving less pressure in the exhaust system, turbos would prop spool up quicker as well :)
  14. whoops, i missed this post, aaw class, how much you needing for it??? could pick it up next week, or maybe even the weekend :)
  15. yeah was on pistonheads, ah don't say that, i'm meant to be picking it up tomorrow lol :)
  16. ah cool, i knew it had the front sensor, didn't realise it'd be in the form of a small antenna :cool3:
  17. what's the wee ariel type thing near the front light for???
  18. nice, thanks for that, i assume blow off valves use the same line???
  19. also, i know this needs twin everything pretty much, so...how do i plumb in a boost gauge?? i assume it'd go right onto the intake plenum?? but, do i need 2??? or a t piece from each plenum going into 1 gauge?? actually, think i've just answered my own question lol :)
  20. nice, so if my mpg is even more terrible than normal, get the spanner out??
  21. anything i should look out for or pay particular attention?? like, are the head gasket prone to failing or anything like that???
  22. a wet day in the mr2 is worse than any other car!!! owhen they let go there's no getting it back!!! my rx8 was awesome in the wet, as was my 200sx :D although, an auto in the wet may be different :D
  23. hahaha, i've never raced one in the mr2, i always thought my mr2 would take one no problem, must be the torque, or twin turbos, i don't know lol, but i do know it's muuuuch quicker :D
