how do u do the test mode on ecu

yeah the car was working fine .. oil pump failed tuck out the engine .. i re-chipped the ecu but I'm good with elecy stuff as i do it day in day out but remember the problem was there before touching the ecu to chip it

lol oh dear i will explain again Car working fine engine went bang .. engine block all my working stuff like inletmanifold/turbos/sensors/pipes swopped over .. engine will not start right pop pop bang bang missfire like mad .. So i have changed coil packs 2 sets injectors 3 sets all coil/inject connectors spark plugs 3 sets all with same problem ... i now have Brand New 555 injectors & TDA55 chip install in to ECU PTU and Connectors Brand New Boost and Vac pipes i can say there is 99.9% of no leaks Still the same problems the only thing that is left is the Main Wire Loom & ECU

just spoken to Zedworld .. hes said by what i have done it could be the ECU ? what u guys think

ok just been out checked the connections and even jigged up an extra earth .. still the same

all brand new pipes on the boost side and 80% of the vac pipes have been replaced .. do need to do a vac test i have had 3 lots of sparkys 2 lots of coil packs i now have brand new Coil pack connectors Brand New PTU and Connectors Brand New Injectors and Connectors i have the right connections as all was Numbered up the Nock and O2 sensors are diffrent plugs 2>3pin

That has been changed too i have 3 here....

little update .. got a brand new PTU from Zedcentre .. Cheers luke for the Deal and it seems to be better but still missfiring .. got some new coil pack plugs/leads and new ptu leads gonna see what happends chaging them over later on .

i get a pop from drivers but mainly on passenger side .. yep pop pop bang bang smell of fuel

ecu is fine i have checked it twice and the connections are clean .. plus this fault was there with diffrent injectors and new .. but what is making me thing when my engine went bang oil pump stopped working and made the engine very very Hot .. i'm not just thinking it could be the ptu

all my pipes are ok .. checked them all and replace with suspect ones ..

oh ... i never disconected the batt ...:crying: any one got a S2 PTU to sell me its the Black one

well there are other markers with the belt and some tip-x that some ones done and thay all align up too all connections to the PTU/Maf are spotless yes i have had the ecu out but it was the same before tuching it .. only had it out due to Rechipping it but thats all the same still with new injectors its starting to worrie me now that there is a problem with the engine

Ok New engine after it blowing up Check all timing and all aligns up 0 on crank and all cam Markers on the back plate align New injectors New Injector plugs New Plugs tryed 2 lots of coil packs even my old injectors when i can get the engine running its sounds nice ( engine ) no knock/bangs/taps Oil Pressure is right about middle on ide>2k the engine will not go past 3k as it dies out the miss fire is mainly on the passenger side bank does any one know where the wires normaly brake or know of a good Loom thay no longer need Please help

yeah i gathered that now due to what the garage has said .. i dont think he knows hes got a Very Late Reg z31 as he was asking about LWB/SWB and said it was 1989 import .. the Z31 ran up to 88 right ?

sorry my mistake just rang the garage and its a F Reg

ok sold a window to some one on here and the garage has rang me to say it dont fit .. ? he says the car is F Reg 88/89 now the bloke i offered/sold the window said it was the right one for his car after i told him what age/colour/Wheel base it came from .. the garage says his car has diffrent fittings lugs and no black band on the side ? was there a design change around this time as i have looked and check 98>94 are the same
