  1. u know u can buy 2.5" SS downpipes/decat pipes from ebay UK
  2. loosen the 3 bolts that hold the unit down ... u may need to Tap it to make it rotate as the alloy gets corroded other than that set it and re-tighten bolts
  3. UK/Jap LWB only think it was an option.... but standard for bose units .. i wouldnt bother trying to track down another one just wire direct from your head unit to back speakers the amp is only 25w per channel anyways your head unit will be more
  4. wouldnt say so ... but u said u connected another speaker to the connection right ? ... if the new speaker didnt work that would rule out your speakers not working regardless of the amp in the car or not .. No amp but still no sound = Wire problem or main head unit starting to go funny ... check your fader option hasnt been put fully to ( front )
  5. what u getting from them ... ?
  6. i moved mine to the back of the main head light .. there is no need to cut or re-solder wires just need to strip back the outer wire covering so it just leaves you with the two water sensor wires then recover all wires in Fiber/isolation tape
  7. if it has packed up ... you can take 2 new feeds from back of head unit on rear output and wire directly to speakers .. the main reason there is an amp in the back of the car ... for getting the Old head units louder .. as 10+ years ago car radios was only outputting 10w per channel at the best ... now we have head units doing 50w per channel far better no real need for the amp any more
  8. two reasons ... 1st Main one is Heat from the engine makes the s1 fail 2nd is to tidy up the engine bay or even u want open cam cover nothing to mount it to
  9. located under the plastic trim in the boot on the right hand side ... ( mounted to the wheel arch ) looks like this
  10. the ECU has to be chipped/socketed to do a Remap ... the E=prom chip needs to be removable from the ECU ( chip/socketed ) to alowe the Mapper to Remap it for your car ... and u will find if u send your ECU to AndyP it will only cost u £30>40 quid or around £80 for ECU all ready done to plug in ... not that much
  11. 2 me it looks like one of the boost metal pipe brackets ... from either side of the rad ... or from the two earth wire mounting brackets from back of the engine
  12. AndyP on the forum can sort you out with Chipped/mapped ecu for your 555 injectors m8 ..
  13. yeah .. i like a happy ending :ban:

  16. have they been working ? as i know some zeds have a small amp in the rear of the car
  17. it is common sense really to check the engine condition ... however my engine was done Last year before i put the engine in anyways ..
  18. thay say it comes in 3's Mondeo Turbo over a week ago Nissan turbo Yesterday Now some one just crashed in to my van .. Cut me up on a Island and Damaged his car bad and paint work and Bent my steering/arms .. my luck it all against me lol
  19. £15 posted ... ? it all so Displays the Batt Volt and its PSI or Bar theres some switchs on the back to change it
  20. yeah custom in deed there not many custom exhaust builders around and it does look all most identical parts used to the one i have ( topgear/longlife )
  21. back right of the plenum .. think its the bottem one gray plug .. edit may be light blue
  22. lol you beat me to it ... ( Caps = shouting ) m8 just to say that back box looks all most like my Mondeo custom one .. ( topgear/longlife ) good systems thats for sure get some more photos of the box and piping under the car
  23. click the Go Advanced button to the lower right of the Txt box .. then just below the new box that pops up the option will be there on the Lower Left ( Manage attachments ) High Light the Pics that u want to upload ( tick ) Click Add files Button .. Then Click Done Button then it will take you back to the original txt box .. Click Submit Mark
  24. no way of seeing that as gauge isnt plumbed in there ... but i can not see oil pressure being a problem as it wasnt with the last turbos and its using the correct restricters for tubs as supplied
  25. Turbo Dynamics but if the turbo has failed due to manufacture problem this has no baring on the Comp just to make that clear dont want to be seen bad mouthing will report soon but its going to be another few weeks yet anyways
