the colour and carbon build up on all of the pistons would say are right .. the bad piston/cylinder doesn't have scores on it but its transferred alloy from the piston the ring looks intact but will know more when i strip lower block tomorrow started at 6pm finished 9:30 taking it from Full engine to bare short block

sooo whats caused this ? is it just the Temp of running the engine hard ?

Spoke to Turbo place and he explained how the oil can end up in the boost lines/exhaust with engine fail ... he said if a piston had a Hole in it and turbo was on + boost this would pressurize the crank case and push the oil back in to the turbo from the drain hole so oil is being forced from both ends of the tub so the only place for it to go is though the shaft oil seal and in to the pipes .. but hes all so said he would pick up and test and return the tubs for free so as you can see cylinder 6 has melted and all so looks to be a small gasket leak on from oil well to 5

engine is apart .... any one like to guess what the problem is

was going to get 88mm set anyways and yeah all ready sorted for engine tech to sort that out PCV not sure .... what does it intail ?

ok .. engine is out the car ... and on engine stand all ready from half 2 today all the way 7ish on stand thats even driving it in garage and taking bumper & bonnet off less than 5 hrs engine removal ...

not long just fitted new belt/pulleys/water pump ... yeah taking engine apart this week need to find some wonda before ordering so its going to be a week>2

these tubs have uprated Oil seals on ... i paid for the privilege

last time i checked pipes was all clean and that was only weeks ago ... oil coming out of passanger side exhaust ... no oil in drivers side ... clean but there was oil in both sides of the intercooler not loads but enuff to leave a nice trail when it was taken off so i would guess about 100ml in total i'm just ready to take engine out .. started at half 2 ... doing good for time

well thats what i was thinking ... yeah New ball bearing type .. but mis sfire/smoke is only on one side ... oil was on both side same amount is it possible for Oil from the cylinders to get back in to the boost lines

just taken intercooler off .. i have Oil in both sides ... whats that all about .. ?

Jimmer Stock 87mm wiseco pistons ... dose the block need re-boring for them ? as been told today that all the wiseco pistons are oversized Mark

would love too but ££££ and been advised that Stock forged rods are good for 500 ...
