havent tried it anymore when i rocked it and then tried it again and it started i quickly moved it inside and it was making the grinding noise all the time and more revs you could hear somithing spin fast.got it inside and got under it and looked at starter and it seemed all there i.e not hanging off. sounds like when you start a car and try to start again starter makes a grinding noise.but this is doing it all the time

yes plus iwhen i moved it more revs i.e 3k you could hear it spin up .when moving it it sounded like a piece of crap.like something was broken

ok went for a drive and got back home washed the car etc went to move it and a horrible noise (grinding noise) come from the engine end.so turned it off and then started it again and it was very load. so turned off and had a look and couldnt see anything so started it again and it wouldnt start i.e turn key and it was dead.so thinking stater i put car in gear and moved back and forward and you could hear it ,took it out of gear and no noise in ,put it back in gear then put clutch down and noise went.got in it again and it started so quickly moved it in the garage . do you think its the starter totely buggerd or somethng else

update. adjusted the screw and still no 1 bar still about 9 psi to 10psi so i removed the bovs and put back to normal with new vacuum pipe and got 1 bar again.going away now until monday so going to look at again when i get back.think its a vac leakgoing to order some nrew vacuum pipe and hose etc and try again

has anyone got the blitz bovs and know how to set them up for 1bar as after fitting mine i can only get about 9pst what length does the screw need to be etc thanks

been reading up on this do i have to adjust them to suit my car i.e 1bar . make the spring more harder??

just fitted my blitz bovs which are on hard pipes and tested it and i was running 1bar now its only got about 9psi the boost gauge reads nearly 10 but slowly goes down. and it seems to have a pop from the exhausts when changing gear . does this sound like i got a vac leak,i cut off the vac lines to the re-circs and bung them up and put the other end on the bovs.

speedo is stuck all the way round now into the 7 on the boost.this happend after a race with a r6 and it was stuck at 120 then shot round to over 180 .after i stooped the car got back in it and the speedo went all the way round and its stuck ,. any ideas to mend this ???

1st road kill in zed
driving nice and slow and saw a mate with his R6 doing 60 he pulls up next to me reving his bike so im sitting there thinking i wounder what this can do so im going down the slip road in 2nd with him up my rear. and off we go,i get up to 4th and a gap is getting bigger between us then in 5th and the gap is very big ,so look at my speedo to see what i was doing and it said 120 mph thinking this cant be right as my revs are still going up.so i know my turning is coming up so i let off the throttle and the speedo starts to flicker and moves round to over 180 ,cant say what speed i was doing as i was having a brick when i saw this and and had to turn off which i couldnt do because of the speed i was doing. the result of this my speedo is now stuck all the way round .anyone know how this has happened and how to mend it. i phoned my mate and he couldnt go any faster then 162mph and was reving it to 18k,and he said i just left him when he was doing this speed.and he reckons the amount of heat coming from the exhaust was un real. hope the car is ok :)

ok will give it a go in morning.do i remove and cap off the pipe work (blue dot )as i read on here (if your blitz bovs ar on the hard pipes then you need to cap off both sets of pipes when removing the re-circs.)is this true cheers for your help. kev

just picked my blitz bovs up from andyz. they are fitted to hard pipes . there is a small pipe coming off the top of the bov where do i join this to etc??? and when removing the re-circs do i bung up all pipe work ?? thanks :) kev
