  1. wow handbags at dawn.... I really dont see what the problem is on this site. Why are a few of you so up the wall about the site? Im fairly new to the site and find it very helpful and useful to me. I have saved hundards due to the FREE ADVISE i got from you guys so the £20 i paid to be a member is nothing (i spent more in the indian tonight lol). It seems to me that there are things that have happened in the past and some members and mods seem to find it hard to let it be IMHO. Maybe people that have been here for a while and have had zeds for a long time dont need the advise as you now know how to diagnose and fix your zed. Im guessing here but i would say that when you first bought your zed and logged on to this site you had no clue about PCV valves and saftey boost and all the other silly faults you get with your zed and only through advise from fellow members have you learnt how to fix your zed. this is a great site for 300zx owners, fact. The advise you get here is well worth the £20/£15 a year you pay. Saying that i would like to see the club at more than 1 show a year. it would be nice for the club to attend more shows as it would be good for the club communty and nice to put some face's to the cars. just my 2 pence worth.
  2. lots!!!! i have been caught about 6 times but have only had 6 points as i managed to get out of the others. If you argue them they tend to drop the ticket. i do 80,000 miles a year mind so im on the road lots.
  3. well i think you need deep pockets to fix that up. If it was an easy fix then the garage that is selling it would be doing it. Also the front right chassis arm is bent/dented also its going to need vic test and is recorded so will never be worth as much as a non crashed tvr and with fuel prices etc these tvr's are only going to come down in value and there are some about for around £7500 up wards now. I would really look into repair cost very carfully as i think lower arms, wishbones etc will not be cheap plus all the body work needed. also bear in mind you cant test drive it and check overheating problems etc. If your brave enough it is a good project and is probably worth decent money in parts so you may have a fail safe if it goes tits up with the budget
  4. can say the same about the zed's! lol and why not try something different as said above and re shell it in something different. Transit maybe?
  5. ive said in a few post that the club needs to offer better perks for members? but dont seem to get much response.

  11. ..... Anyone else watch it? i didnt see the first series but im finding this really funny.
  12. Well im going to leave them soak in wd40 over night and wire bush the crap out of them and hope for the best but ill probably order new rings and spanners to undo them anyway. Hope for the best prepare for the worst lol
  13. I do normally go throught the FAQ's to get my answers but im in a lazy mood today! :sleep1::sleep1::sleep1: Anyway what i wanted to know is what i need to buy in order to fit coil overs the correct way? ie camber adjusting arms etc...... Also are there kits that do it all for me?
  14. i could do with them rear seats match my front ones then. Is it not worth that for someone to break????? if so dibs on rear seats
  15. i was looking at a 530d before i bought the zed and read a bit about the auto gearbox's losing reverse and cost £800+ to sort out. Also the auto box's are meant to be sealed for life and changing the gearbox oil is a pain in the arse and expensive i belive.
  16. not if you look at the photos of your zed when you bought it to how it is now. Yours is a really nice zed
  17. Awsome thanks and i hope so if not i might be burning the poxy car lol

  20. New engine loom coming! :tt2:
  21. oh right something else i need sort out! is there meant to be more than 1 earth point for the coils? i have 1 large black wire which i have earthed to the battery and then there are 4 small earth wires that go to 2 ring terminals which are on the balance bar
  22. i spent the rest of the afternoon stripping back my wiring loom to cheack for any breaks or shorts. I didnt find any but i did find that the eaths for the coils are split. I have a large earth that was going to the plenum which i have now moved to the battery and then i had 2 lots of 2 wires going to the earth on the balance bar. This seems a bit odd to me? does anyone else have earth wires going to the 3 bolts on the balance bar? im thinking my wiring loom has been chopped about loads!!!!
  23. well i have fixed misfire on the left bank which was me being an idiot and pluging the o2 sensor onto the coil but now i have a mis on no5 cylinder? Changed coil from 5 to 3 but mis stays on 5. Its getting fuel as when i removed the plug it was wet any ideas?
  24. i wont upset you and tell you its less than £150 a month for 3 bed semi then. fingers slipt
  25. wow my mortgage is less than that lol
