  1. Yeah guys, it's the panel seals not the actual headlight. The kit in the link includes the metal supports but it's just the rubber seals that I require which that company also sells separately.
  2. Are these available to buy from anywhere - MJP? Regards Ronnie

It'll be worth it in the end, best of luck mate.

Yes mate, it's been a while ain't it, ha ha! Was great to have them though, did you see the pics of my refurbed alloys, they're on here somewhere. Hows things with you, getting there?

Alright mate, hope you're well. Need to arrange to return your four spacesavers. Also want to see if you've got some parts I'm looking for, speak to you soon. Regards Ronnie
  6. Ah right, didn't know it was for the '99 model, stupid me!
  7. Saw the above on USA's ebay site, item no. 220810178809 Cost + p&p converts to £77/£78 although I suppose there could be additional import taxes, VAT etc to pay on top of that! I 'phoned a local Nissan dealer and quoted the part no: 62254-VP100 and it did come up as a front grille but looks like it would have to come from Japan as availability was three weeks. Stated £95 + VAT which equals £114 Anyone else have this part and was it generally available? Perhaps available from our MJP? Cheers as ever! Ronnie
  8. Well, I started this thread some time ago and have just sorted this problem. I was lubricating the steering coupler (called it a UJ previously but the guy who works on my car says there's two such joints (possibly higher up column). Anyway, it's been lubricated and all's well.
  9. Thanks for the understanding and kind words folks, much appreciated. Regards Ronnie
  10. Over a month ago, I responded to a wanted' advert, someone was looking for a steering wheel with the cruise control buttons and I offered one for free, I was just to find out about postage costs. For the life of me, I can't remember the person's name and I can't find the thread. However, various matters, including a family bereavement, has meant I haven't been on the site for about a month. I wish to extend my apologies to the person I messed about, it wasn't intentional, sorry pal! Regards Ronnie
  11. I've got Work alloys on my car. There's pics of them in a thread somewhere on here dated around the end of November 2012. I was told by the wheel refurbisher that they were worth £3000, never seen them at that price anywhere!
  12. Hello, I'm in Greenock so not too far away. Not that mechanically minded but don't mind lending a hand (labouring).
  13. These guys and others like them are not representative of Muslims. Islam is one of the leading religions of the world and, like Christianity, promotes love and tolerance. Young Muslims have been radicalised by preachers of hate and, as a result, have extremist views and a distorted interpretation of the Koran. The real problem is that we are too soft in the treatment of such people but that's because all the mainstream political parties are, on the whole, bleeding heart leftie liberals with no stomach for punishing, not just for these terrible acts, but for crime in general. Time to get out of the EU and the shackles of the ECHR which is being used in a way that was never intended, it was to bestow rights to citizens not a get out clause for scum. There can be no rights without responsibilities. Thoughts with the deceased and his friends and loved ones.
  14. I had this problem too and sprayed WD40 into every nook, cranny and opening, no problems with mirrir since and that must be a year now!

Sandy, I sent you a text saying I'd be in Glasgow early Saturday morning (9th), is this convenient for you?
  16. Update: tyres now fitted, will be back on car tomorrow.
  17. Good to hear you're making progress mate. Was nice to meet you a few weeks back too to pick up the spacesavers. Ronnie
  18. Thanks for the kind words guys, I am very pleased the way they've turned out. Got excellent part worns to be fitted, a pair of Goodyear Eagle F1 for the front and Contis for the rear, hopefully mid next week.
  19. OK I've captured some pics, hope this works - no pun intended! http://www.flickr.com/photos/90636085@N05/
  20. Very similar to yours Rolandas
  21. I mentioned in a recent thread that my wheels were with a company to be refurbished. Per title, the wheels are made by 'Work' who I understand are a Japanese manufacturer. They are 18" aluminium split rims, the centre caps carry the initials, 'VS' I went to collect them the other day and was very pleased with the job the guys had done, centres powder coated in anthracite with 'chrome' powder coated rims. I got talking with the owner who appeared very knowledgeable and he stated that this model was initially sold by the company as a three piece split rim but subsequently sold, after factory welding, as a two piece. He then said that, to either replace or buy new, would cost in the region of £3000, yes £3k! Can this really be the case? My camera needs charged but I'll put up some pics soon. Regards Ronnie
  22. Cheers for the replies guys, they're Work alloys (Japanese brand?) and I just plumped for the 73.1mm rings. I'll put pics up once returned from being refurbished. Regards Ronnie
  23. I've just removed my 18" Work alloys for refurbishment and noted that they don't have 'O' rings which, I assume, explains the vibration at various speeds. I know the 300zx's hub diameter is 66.1mm but how do I go about determing the hub bore of the alloy, it doesn't appear to be written on it anywhere. I've measured it by tape measure and naked eye. The thing is 'ebay' advertise rings which fits bores of 72.6mm and 73.1mm, how in feck's name can I accurately determine a difference of 0.5mm? I'm confident you guys will come up with the answer. Regards Ronnie
  24. Was thinking of popping down tomorrow night (Tuesday), I finish at 6:00pm so would probably be with you around 7:00pm if that's convenient. You can text your address to ????? Cheers! Ronnie
  25. Cheers Sandy and thanks to everyone who responded with kind offers. When would it be convenient to pop down JaiKai? Regards Ronnie
