Hi Mate, still into music when I get time, my wife unfortunately got ill a few years back and now i'm a stay home dad taking care of her and the kids..never been busier! How are you? have you heard from trish ? I haven't spoken to her in a couple of years. For some reason I started reading my old 300zx enthusiasts companion recently (the one with the pearl yellow on the front..your baby;) really nice to talk to you guys again, getting the vibe for a z..hopefully next year eh? Hi Anthony, glad to see my old honey is still on the road! Nods to the other folk here who remember me too, I miss this place, as already said you could not have a friendlier and more helpful place than this. I often cried my eyes out on this site over various things , but always found a solution. These guys give their time and help with all aspects of Z's and get little or no reward. Trish (Tulip)gave me a tip about the thread so I wanted to come for a look. I hear my old zed is in a bit of a sorry state, fair play to ya for rescuing her! Hey guys/gals, been so long since I dropped in here, i'm beginning to really miss the z scene this summer, hope some of you are still around, trish ,Dave , anthony etc. I've just started getting back into a bit of work. It is small, but i'm looking to the future, hopefully in a couple of years I will have another z:cool3: Anyone know what happened to my old honey? Got a xmas present of a sony bdp-300 blue-ray player.Guess what?....thats right it's f**ked, sony so far has frustrated me on it's helplines and online support. Shop It was bought in (major retail chain xtra-vision here in Ireland) don't want to know as it's over the 28 days return option. Gave me sony phone numbers to call with the usual bullshit "we're so sorry but it's not our problem". Thing is, I've been doing a little research on sony blue ray players. Most seem to be turkeys especially the model I have. :headvswalThey offer firmware upgrades so you can download and upgrade your machine. Absolute crap the lot of it. I remember the same thing happening when DVD first emerged, It takes a couple of years of trial and error to get the technology sorted. So, if any of you guys/gals are getting a blu-ray player this year..and I have to say they are amazing... when they work..... DON'T BUY SONY:rant: do some research on the best tried and tested. I'm going back to the shop tomorrow and I'm going to drop the thing on the counter and give them a right *****king. :mad::mad::mad:

I truly would love to vote, but at the moment I'm not subscribed so i'm not allowed. I really don't see the point of that as it would be great for visitors and the like an opportunity to view and vote on their favourite. Might bring in more voters. I have been a subscriber for the majority of the last few years , a bit frustrating! Hopefully when good times come around again and I can afford to subscribe and own a Z I will properly make my point For now, best of luck to all:)

Sorry to hear about the Job richard, sucks doesn't it!:( I remember trying to get interior bits last year, the ones I bought from a scrapped slicktop in kildare turned out to be in worse nick than the originals that were on it. Door cards especially, damp and warped. But I really needed to change the cream at the time so went ahead with the diy job . Just a tip....If I was ever going to do that job myself again, I would use a nice cream suede, you can get it from good fabric retailers and I've seen it on a few US cars, looks really nice and a lot easier to fit than leatherette, door card especially. when you getting some pics up, I really miss her lately with all this dry weather

Great to hear it Richard. Sorry I'll miss you guys on Sunday, but the all Ireland final is on between Waterford and Kilkenny. It's not usually my cup of tea, but seeing as i'm a Waterford man living in south Kilkenny, the slagging and craic will be too good to miss, plus the fact the reast of family would have a hissy fit if i wasn't there.
