hey guys, ive been working my ass off rebuilding a TR7 engine and body restoration aswell, so now ive got about 500, to get my z thru a mot, taxed and insurance deposit payed when i first got her, i put her thru a Mot, but i abandoned it, this is what i know, headlight bulbs needed replacing, ive looked at ebay bulbs, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-90-Osram-NightBreaker-Plus-Xenon-Bulbs-H1-448-Main-Headlight-Light-/290644857374?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3A300+ZX&hash=item43abc8921e im not sure if thats all i need? surely thats not the main beam and the high beam, i took a bulb out and its only got 1 filiment by the looks of it, its got one prong, and a small chrome bulb looks just like those on the pic on the ebay add. i wanna get some hids too if i can, could sum1 please tell me what hid kit i need. around £30, and wat other bulbs i need.if at all, also the side repeaters are green :( shocker, ive found some clear universal ones which ill just clip in for the mot. i need a tyre on the back,i got a pre worn for £20, but fink i need another on the front cos its got a chunk peelin away on the sidewall, shame cos its a michy pilot sport see if i can get another cheap pre worn.... i need another drivers window black box thingy as the window wasnt working and theres been a bodged wire inside this black box which im holding responsible, dont spose anyones got a spare? this is the biggy... the seats.. the front seats and the rear have been taken from a silvia s14, and the subframes have been bodged to fit, so the front two holes line up as usual but the back has had cut up parts of the original welded to it to sort of fit the threaded bolts in the floor, thing is, they dont, so theyve welded a wheel bolt to it to stop it sagging under the weight. so the seats are on the piss and wobble wen u shake them, also the rear seats, the back part u lean against, its not wide enough to bolt onto the 2 brackets. its about half inch out but the shoulded bolts are barely holding it on by them clamping the seat!! terrible, also the u bend bracket that wud go into the seat to hold it up dont line up, so gona have to move that over, and also bolt the bottem part of the seat down sumhow too. and re fab the front subframes. also...rear fog lamp dont work, but i think i figured that out after i found a lil switch thats been added next to the guages, turnd the fog on lol. thats it cos i abandoned the mot, im gona get under her and check for rust, possible weld spots. and also i reckon its gona need new pads cos the discs look like the pads arnt making full contact. and bit tite on cash, will get some discs soon as i can. im hoping nothing too major needs doin. and that i can get some parts fairly easily, if anyone has any pointers, or can help in any way id love to hear them :thumbup: thanks in advance guys!

argh, this is doin my head in. last couple weeks ive seen loads of u guys posting about where can i get these wheels refurbed and repaired, im starting my refurb business and really wanna help you guys, its just not up and running yet, having some tight arse investor troubles :(

yea just gona get some white led ones for now, only a fiver from car stop pit stop. yea main focus problems are the tyres and seats. and mainly the noticable obvios failiures, hopefull there will be nothin major. when i get her to pass my next worry will be taxin it, and the insurance deposit lol

thats really comforting given my situ, thanks again mate, the lights had chrome bulbs in and they wer not bright at all, also i think there mite be a wiring issue but i havnt been able to replace the bulbs yet some im still not 100% sure, ill get new bulbs then try them. hopefully theyl be much brighter. another thing is the side lights are green :( theyre bodged in anyway cos theres a gap between the sidelight and the panel looks like they not the right size at all. ive got some cheap ones i found in rolling for a pound im just gona fit for the MOT, they just try source some originals. my miain priority at the moment is the seats which im still waiting to get hold of my bro to see if hell bring me to you mate. the tyres, prob gona need at least another 2, andthe brakes. maybe the seat belt bringer backerer its bit slow. and i need the little black box for the drivers side window cos its broke so ive got no lecy windo. as far as i know thats it, i just hope its not been bodged anywhere near the suspension. its bushes im worried about becuase theyre expensive thanks again for all your help mate
