  4. hi mate, i just need two front seats,ant the rear seats. or if ur willing to split the subframes from the seats cos im short on moolah :( im sure i could mate the to the stupid s14 seats that wer bodged into my car onto the proper subframes, cant be too different surly lol. i had a MOT tester come have a look at the seats the other day just for a giggle and he sez that the subframes wer welded up with no gas mig welder, looks terrible. and it will never pass a MOT like that. + i much prefer the original Z seats, when i had my TT i had the black leather ones, theyre lovly all day long lol. i just wanna get it through the MOT so i can try get it on the road. then i can touch it up as i go and can afford. im startin a TR7 restoration in january, gettin paid for that so i mite be able to get insurance,tax + get her on the road then maybe we could meet up for a cruise or a swift pint? If you could let me know how much you want for your seats ill get back to you ASAP mate, thaks again!! :thumbup:
  5. completly agree. 3.5K - 5k will get you a very nice 08,09,gsxr1000. 2k will get you a 02 -03 R1.both these bikes will anihalate anything you come across pretty much. no traffic,cheap tax & ins. 20 to fill the tank.. but you will die if you do not build a healthy respect for it lol
  6. hey KJ i was wondering if you still had some of those parts i need for my bodged batmobile lol. ive got a tyre for her, mates tryin to get me some new brakes of a breaker in his yard. i just need some seats or the frames so i can make them fit the seats ive got. not in a financial position to be picky at the moment lol. any help is uber appreciated and will not be forgotten. thanks sam
  7. ive been racing Motocross competivly for about 6 years now, pretty good at it,currently riding in the 125cc experts with my kxf250. i love it!! but since i had my cbt and do theory and mod 1,got a aprillia rs125. being on the road on a bike and not a car is totally different mindset, cars just dont care. you gota concentrate so much harder, and really take the time to learn the road, surface. learn your bike. i sold the aprilia couple months ago, and got myself a j2 zx600rr ready for when i pass my full test. ive had a cheeky ride on it to the waterfalls and back with my bropther, just to get the feel of it and learn a healthy respect for the bike, shes put away now waiting for me to pass my test and the sun to come out :) hopefully ill have my Z on the road too

  11. okie smoke, so let me get this straight, if i could insure my ninja, tax .mot. or use the 500cc provided a instructor. then take the test on that after my 21st. and pass that allows me to ride the ninja under NO restriction?

  13. bugger ive only had it one year, and its still only A, which is provisional, so im gona have to take the direct acces, thats ok, im confident ill pass, only fing im worried about is reaching the floor lol
  14. hey guys,, i planning on taking my test in jan just after my 21st bday. ive done a cbt, theory and module 1, so in order to ride my very nice zxrr600 would i have to now take the direct access course? after my 21st of course. or is there sumin else before that? cos i know that before 21 u can take the module 2 which allows you to ride 125cc no plates. then goes up to watever you want when 21 or 2 years whatevers sooner. so am i right in thinking if i book a direct access for just after my bday, take it on a 500cc, pass. im good to go? ive looked on the dvla but its just so confusing, so id thought id ask here seeing as you lot collectivly know everything about everything lol thanks guys

  16. haha, well she did say shed make it up to me, but then i sed dont worry about it, its how we met, she had a mg zr, her sis....my best mates gf, told her to come see me, she turned up at mine , never seen her before, with her bf. i fixd a 'broken headgasket' with a new set of plugs lol. he sed garage sed head gasket was gone, i asked him, did you go into the garage and say, ' my headgaskets gone'? he goes yea, i sed well of course theyd say that lol. simpltin.:lol: im hopin i can do it with wat ive got or can improvise with. she works in a hosp so i kinda need it done nice and smooth problem free lol yea right
  17. is it essential that i have a clutch alignment tool? all i have is a halfords socket set,hammer,crowbar. jacks and axle stands lol. i predict stressful times ahead

  19. hey guys, my gf Clutch release has just gone about 5 mins ago right outside my house. pretty sure its the release bearing, been squakin for ages. ive ordered a new clutch kit, but ive not changed one on these before, its a v reg pug 106 1.1. threres still tension in the pedal, its just not connected lol, anyone know how to do this job and can you walk me through it? thanks guys

  21. ok cheers mate, i had one before , was ideal for me cos i got it for £1400, body work was tatty but i spray cars by trade so thats perfect. just want a solid motor.
  22. hey guys, ive not long got a N/A manuel. it sounds awsome and runs perfect, but i want a TT, im thinking ahead here,im gona want to put a TT motor in it or get a new TT all together as ive had one before and i miss the power. just out of interest... could i bolt up a tt straight to the n/a geabox. would it be a case of, just swap the engine, loom.ecu over? or is there a lot of hidden issues?
