  9. Car.Mad, that's exactly it, it was the Kings or Queens mail, so it was not allowed to be held up by anyone or anything, and the law has never changed, I realise some of the laws in this country are way out of date and need reforming now, but this for now is still the law........:detective:

  12. I'm not arguing, life is too short to argue, I am only suggesting that if an emergency vehicle goes through a red light and is involved in a RTC, then it's their fault, which suggests to me that it cannot be legal for the said emergency vehicle to cross a red light., if it was legal, then if they were involved in a RTC then it would not be their fault. I sincerly apologise to anyone if I have come across as arguing........Too happy to argue.......:tt2::tt2:
  13. I said what nationality would the baby be, not who would own it.......lol...
  14. If a baby was born on an aircraft, and that aircraft was right over the border of two different countries, what nationality would the baby be?..........:devil2:
  15. Technically if you observe the law, then no. I very much doubt it would ever happen though. It just stems back to the days when they used to say the mail must go through. Wheras an emergency vehicle travelling through a red light causing an RTC would be in the wrong, therefore it cannot possibly be legal for an emergency vehicle to drive through red lights.
  16. Too true, a great payout indeed.....
  17. Postman Pat is legally allowed to go through a set of red traffic lights.....:scooter:

  21. Legally? No vehicles are allowed to cross the solid white STOP line on RED. Technically, any emergency vehicles, including ambulance, police, fire, Doctor (green light) and H.M. Coastguard would be allowed to cross at RED, BUT only if it is safe to do so. If they cross and collide with someone THEY would be at fault. Source(s): ADI 10 years ADVANCED DRIVER
