Picked up my new motor this weekend
My brothers old disco, a 2.5 Wrangler and a 4.0L Sahara Wrangler all of them have went round our family when they got bored lol Can't find some of the older pics of the Jimny I had on 31's and a LOAD of older Hilux's, Sj410/413's. Off roading is like my dad and brothers addiction like our Zeds :tt1:

Looking good Baz we had a bobtailed Range Rover at one point named "Bob the Beastie" spot the pun lol. Once I get some pics off my dad's computer I'll show you some of the offroaders we've had over the years!

Where do I stand?
Well Arnold Clark admitted to having the wheels off and brought a courtesy car up and took my girlfriends car away to hopefully be sorted :) I shall keep you posted on what they do this time! lol

Where do I stand?
Thanks a lot guys I had a look at this http://www.arnoldclark.com/servicing/complete-aftercare/service.html and it seems the service includes a load of checks to the brakes etc. so I'm guessing they would have had the wheels off! Can't believe they would do that to a car being driven by a 20 year old female who wouldn't have heard the noise it started to give off before the wheel let go :@ I'm just glad I was driving and not her or it could have been a different story!

Where do I stand?
Thanks for all the input guys! It had the front tyres changed last week at National Tyres by a guy I know and I watched him torque them up. When we went down to get the car from it's MOT the "mechanics" were all running around chasing each other messing around, which didn't give me the best of impressions. The car had an advisory for scored brake discs so they may have had the wheel off to check both surfaces? *Edit* The car also had a service at the same time during which they managed to break the engine cover and didn't properly replace the air box pipe.

Where do I stand?
Well not me technically but the other half, she took her 207 in for it's MOT at Arnold Clark (only because the MOT's came with the car) on Friday and yesterday whilst I was driving it I heard a strange vibing noise so started to slow down. As I slowed down the noise got worse and sounded like a flat tyre so just as I came to a hault in the lay-by BANG the front passenger side wheel dropped off! It's bent all the wing and part of the sill so will need a bit of work, she hasn't called them yet but what do you think the best approach would be? I'm glad she wasn't driving especially at speed or it could have been nasty!

Fookin gypsy scum
There's a high chance they are up at Caponacre industrial estate in Cumnock mate. Like 30 caravans have now appeared up there and the pikeys are causing havok as they usually do!

Greddy E-O1
One thing I'd recommend is setting the warning limit so say 16/17PSI? So it doesn't overboost and blow hoses off as I did with mines, oh yea and NEVER hit the initiate function as I found out it resets it to factory settings lol -_- I know it has an AUTO function that you can set your desired boost level and take it out a run and let it set everything up itself but sadly it doesn't work on all cars e.g. mines :( Oh also incase your like me and have the original manual but it's in Japanese here is the link to the english one - http://www.greddy.com/upload/file/PRofec_e-01.pdf

Which Nation builds the "best" cars?
Haha so true!

Which Nation builds the "best" cars?
Everyone will have their own opinion but I'd go with Japanese as they seem to be able to get the most power out of the smallest CC, e.g. Standard S2000/FD3 is 240+bhp from a 2.0 NA and even the Superbike scene is dominated with Jap manufacturers. As for reliability every Toyota I've had has been absolutely bulletproof which is more than can be said for the Golf's I've owned!

Advice on painting wheels
Gonna be painting the MR2 wheels this week hopefully just wondering where folks get their paint etc. and any tips on preparing them? Gonna go for a gunmetal grey metallic colour I think if I can find some :) They are white just now and looks like a home job of painting them!
