Gutted I just bought new front pads and discs a couple of days ago -_-

Well I done in a brand new back set of Avon ZZ3's in less than 2 months and I'm just about due another set of rear Runway Enduros after just over 2 months this time, so she does get sideways pretty often ;) It's actually on pretty straight maybe just not the best pic of it lol. That's why I said Marmite you either love it or hate it :p

There was a big scottish meet of all the 350z boys in scotland that ended with a barbeque 12 miles from me and I never knew about it or I would have went up and had a nosey :( Dad came in and told me about it as he was up that way a run in the MX5 :mad2:

Put a sticker I bought off fleabay on today and thought I'd post up a random pic of it see what you thought :p Let's just say the other half isn't 2 amused lol :whistling:

Second hand engine fitted from Zedworld is £1800, rebuilt engine is roughly £1500 more from someone who knows what they are doing. So all depends what you are wanting and how much cash you have to spare on a car that probably didn't cost much more than that.

Ye it's an upgrade but tbh less pad is meeting less disc than a standard set up with decent pads/discs. Yea it was adapter brackets that were on it Baz once I get the other side off I'll get a pic of them up tommorrow :)

Where's about the cheapest place to get some standard 280mm sized grooved brake discs? Took those oversized one's of mines off as they are a stupid idea as not even the whole pad is in contact with the disc, nevermind the whole disc not getting contacted either! :no:

Ahh cool, the brakes were really good before the pads gave in the other day there. Just need to work out which pistons haven't been doing the job properly and get the new pads put in and hopefully jobs a good'un ::whistling:

Gonna have a look at how they have moved up sizes in discs first dude, hoping it's just extended carriers so it's reversible :/ Then I'll be looking at different discs :)

The previous owner of my Zed fitted oversized discs to the front without going up in size with the calipers so as you can guess it only grabs half of the disc and now looks like this - Ordered new pads today as yesterday after some heavy braking down from a "high" speed whilst playing with some of those crotch rockets on the roads just now :scooter:, It started grinding like hell as if they have been wearing uneven due to a sticking piston! So once the new pads come need to get the pistons etc. freed off and back to stopping me! lol

Reckon I'm gonna have 2 pull out guys. Was down at Bradford today in the girlfriends car picking up a new car for my parents, and one of those flashing light things off the cones on the motorway was on the road and a lorry fired it up and smashed the bumper on the right corner :( I'm totally pissed off but I need to find the money from somewhere to fix that before I do anything. So looks like I won't be out much for a while :///
