  1. just had my new wheels turn sods law 10mins after i put the z away cause it was to cold to stay out wrkn on t but check out that rear dish :dance: :dance:
  2. hi all i've just bought a new set of mechnical gauges for the z (oil,boost,water temp) i'm a little concerned about the water temp one as it has 1/2" npt fitting on the end will this go through the bulkhead anywhere on the drivers side? also does any one do a top hose adaptor to take 1/2" npt? though i must say i've got 2 smaller adaptors but not sure what size or thread they are all i can say is one is tapered thanks for any help in advance kev

  4. just a quicky i need to replace my rear wheel studs can these be done by just removing caliper and disc then knock them out or does the hub have to be removed? many thanks kev
  5. do a water bypass while you have it apart i'm also interested in whats involved as my lifters need doing and might do the job myself
  6. oil pressure will always be higher when cols as the oil thins slightly when warm but dont rely on standard z oil gauge they dont work properly
  7. i'm running 1mm jets with a chris c chip apexi and sport exhaust hitting 15 psi no probs
  8. mine was lowered 45 mm and had very little clearance in fact every time i hit a bump in the road i could hear the bumper grounding
  9. hi bud i did mine today it's not to bad you just undo the 2 brake pipes i recommend a brake pipe union spanner for that then there are 2 12mm bolts on the servo holding it on i had to unbolt the cruise controll solenoid to get a little more space, i fitted new pistons seals in mine a lot cheaper than a new cylinder, took me about 1.5 hrs then had to bleed the brakes through to remove air from the system hth kev

  12. looks like i'm about to buy a new set of wheels for the z they are 19's(8.5 and 9.5 rear) with 2" dish on the fronts and 3.5" dished rears tyres are 235's on the front 265 rear i've also just found out my neighbours are moving thursday and they gave me a generator and bench grinder they dont want to take with them what nice people they are lol

    as far as i know they are the same but if your thinking of buying one from the states dont forget as it's heavy postage will be a fortune plus you will have to pay import tax and vat when it comes into the country your best bet is contact the traders on here
  15. or for around the same price your local alternator centre could probably recondition yours and you get 12month warrenty

  21. there is a 10 amp fuse top row for the side lights not sure if it will affect headlights though
