Just like to mention that when peter at Niztek (SE or wot ever you call it), installs a thermostat into a modified engine he drills 2 extra 3mm holes in the outer edge of the thermostat, so in total you now have 3 3mm holes (there is 1 in there as standard), so your engine will run slightly cooler, because there is an increase in water flow when the thermostat is closed.

Had the same prob with mine, it hates the wet ? wot dont help us is the large grill front opening, the filter sucks easter bunnies in from the roadside :-0

Had the same problem Kersh, but i thought my speedo converter was a good one, so i removed it to prove a point, and all my speed/hicas/power steering problems dissapeared. It only takes 20mins to remove wot ave you got to loose m8.

Ok, so if i have screwed to hard :-) and pushed the femal side of the connector back, how can i close the connector to make them come in contact with each other ?

Have just installed the HKS ALC unit and have a prob, The car wont go into top gear and overdrive (yes the overdrive switch is on), have checked everything that i can think of, and checked over and over again the connections, but i cant see nothing wrong? Also when you come off the gas the revs drop down to tickover RPM, even doing 70MPH.? Has anyone else fitted one of these and had the same problem? :smash: HELP

had the same prob, it was a naf ptu. replaced it and all was fine, ask yourself wot caused it in the first place? check all connections with a multimeter.
