  1. I like it coloured in and thanks for the picture. Si - tbh, I think i liked yours better before. I am seriously considering the 99 spec. Had it sat there for ages
  2. Just wondering what ya's think really. So I'm debating on pulling my 99 spec Front on the car, but also considering whether to paint the mounth on the 89 spec one as I think it makes the number dated. D you think it'd look better with that grey bit painted the same as the rest of the car?
  3. I have both waste gate chatter and BOV's
  4. I think the car looks canny. I don't see it selling for that price but it might help raise the prices of our cars - and that's a good thing lol :tt2: Of course I'm also doubtful the car would sell at that price. In regards to the email you sent the car, I think it was a little harsh and wouldn't appreciate receiving it. I agree it's fine to have your say and that, but maybe worded in a nice way which would have probably got what you meant across better. It's up to the seller what he'd want for the car and then it's up to the buyer whether they're willing to accept the car at that price.
  5. I mailed him the first time that was on eBay, the dude mailed me back but ultimately he was useless
  6. I wonder why there's a service charge on the tickets
  7. Where abouts in Newcastle are you mate? I don't have a classic policy but it's definately worth you considering. A restriction on mileage of say £5k will help and also may be worth thinking about whether you want parents on the policy if they have clean licences and no claims.
  8. Guys, thank you all for you input so far. You all make some great and valuable points. Apart from the venue the main thing seems to be lack of promotion on here. Reminds me of Waynes World... "If you ask them, they will come!" This event is strange for me as I really enjoy the weekend albeit just in a field with some great people. There was a band this year and they were brilliant. Ian, ID say better than the lakes. I didn't know you did archery but I bet its loads of fun... Could be like robin hood in Sherwood forest for a day out. There's the possibility of it being at another venue next year but I'm not yet clued up on that (and it ain't up to me). I'll make sure the guys who need to know all this stuff here it. Thanks again to all of you
  9. I'm gonna say the Veilside ones too if you can find them for any kind of reasonable price. I have vids of mine on YouTube too
  10. I of course beg to differ haha. ID say they're on par unless you've started doing something I don't know about. And mine are probably cheaper
  11. Hi everyone, Just got back from another great Zedfest. Anyway, the event has never really took off as far as the 300's are concerned. And given that in my opinion we have the best Z car I keep wondering why we don't have a bigger following at this event so I wanted to ask for everyone's input. Please be honest and even feel free to say if you've never heard of it as the promotion side could be 1 of the reason why not many 300's go. I'm really wanting to know what would make you think, actually that event sounds good. Your ideas can be as hairy assed as you like. For those that don't know this is held at Sherbrooke Scout Camp near Nottingham. For example, I was thinking of the following as ideas or changes... -Time of the month - eg, do you get paid at the end of the month and the event is on after you've possibly spend your money on something else? -Do we need more activity like sports games, climbing wall, archery etc? -Maybe a drive out like a treasure hunt or something? -Nissan to bring some cars for us to test drive (they did this with the 370Z a couple of years back), perhaps a GTR? -Different Venue -Bar -Bouncy Castles -RC Drift cars You get the point, I'm just after ideas that would make you think, this sounds good and ill actually go. All constructive criticism welcome. Many thanks, Lee
  12. I want to know why he was searching for porn on the forum?
  13. I'm good thanks, you not got another zed yet lol
  14. The majority of parts are generic mate. Certainly head gaskets and that are
  15. Did you buy a new front windscreen or a second hand one?
  16. This is quite a good thread for one of your first posts. Well done Stefan :) Those of us that've been around a long time will know some of the history but in short I've had 2 zeds so will separate them. BLUE UK ZED BEST 1 - manual conversion (although the auto wasn't that bad) 2 - Alloys 3 - Finally getting the engine rebuilt properly after far too many problems, this lead to my new car as the body was rotten and was all done by a good and fairly well known engine builder / mechanic WORST 1 - Sticking with it too long and throwing good money after bad 2 - Not breaking and getting all the good stuff from the car when getting the new shell. Could have made decent money and it had some decent refinements (like blue uk glass etc) 3 - Not buying my favourite ever zed (The Fridge) when I had early notice it was going up for sale and effectively had first chance of buy it. BLACK JAP SPEC CAR - the above rebuilt engine went it to this car 1 - The above fully rebuilt engine with great and huge turbos 2 - re trimmed interior 3 - Veilside evolution exhaust and some other really rare bits 4 - 99 spec type rear lights WORST 1 - Not having a full respray 2 - Not yet fitting a 99 spec front bumper that's just sat in the garage for donkeys
