  1. Could an injector read 57??? I've got the multi meter set on 200 and not sure if I'm reading it wrong
  2. What do I need it on to read the right thing on the connections in the engine bay?
  3. Thanks mate, what does that mean it'll show on the data scan?
  4. Thanks all. Got another question - O2 related, if they're unplugged, what will the conzult/data scan show for them when looking at the dials screen? From memory, they were just sitting at 32 or 35 and not moving
  5. Have you checked for spark or anything
  6. Sorry, I meant lubricating the seal
  7. Will have a look at them. If nothing else it'll be worth giving them a clean anyway. Should probably check mine :-) What would you use to clean the rubber seal?
  8. Do you have the postcode mate?
  9. Also, does the plug just pull off?
  10. Will give it a go first. Can you use second hand injectors though?
  11. Was having a look round a new owners car the other night and the exhaust seemed to be blowing on the passenger side. Anyway, he said its been misfiring etc. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I think the injector is back in cylinder number 2 (passenger side). Pulling the coil pack plug on the cylinder and there was no drop in revs. Timing etc was perfect. I tried it with a screwdriver on the back of the injector and couldn't feel the pulse. Pulled the spark plug and the guy said it was getting spark in the side of the plenum. But a SMALL puff of white smoke came out of the cylinder (I didn't see it). S I'm gonna mind my multimeter to test the injector, but I just wanted to ask: 1 - can you simply replace 1 injector or do you need to do them all 2 - can/should you use a secondhand good one? 3 - should we be concerned with this tiny puff of smoke? As in, could there be a gasket problem?
  12. Are you going i your car mate?
  13. Is this still on kev and who's actually going?
  14. I don't remember any really good ones
  15. Hello mate and welcome to the forum. I was the other dude with a black tt lol
  16. I'm still gonna call you Bruce. Here's the shark lol
  17. Steve - Your wife probably wants rid of you for more weekends than just 10. Mark - I really enjoyed it this year too. I absolutely agree that although there were only about 11 zed's, it probably been the best JAE as far as everyone getting together and having a laugh. Russ - JAE was obviously the best one because I was there lol. On a serious note though, nice post mate.
  18. This is terrible news mate. My thoughts are with you and your family. Couldn't you take holidays? Or possibly take some time and put it back in when you're meant to be home?
  19. Nah. Back then it was all about macca's car mate. Especially all of the who has the fastest car type of threads
  20. Stupid lol
  21. Hello matey, welcome back. I'm guessing it'll have been MAC1's car but I don't know if he ever comes on the board anymore. I think he's busy with the birds of prey and things. I've been in his car a couple of times and the thing really flew but there's never been any evidence posted up as to the power. We now have the top 2 cars being race spec cars and there's several road cars between 500-600 BHP
  22. In short, when the engine was out I swapped the O2 sensors but the new ones don't work right (only one I believe) but I don't think they're proper nissan ones. There's nothing wrong with the old ones so thinking of getting those put back in. But thinking, is it worth getting done ASAP or is there no real hurry
  23. I'm currently driving with my O2's unplugged. Only driven it a few times and not very far. I'm curious what damage this could cause if any
