  1. Ding ding.... Round 2..!
  2. Looks good for the money..
  3. Its got to be hard, and kids are hard work, but you cant beat being close to your kids. Money, cars, houses....They all mean nothing, its the kids that count.
  4. Im under classic insurance. I was told you need to be 25 for it, but i spoke to a fella who was 21 and had classic insurnace, so shop around. Although, £977 for a 21 year old isn't bad... Look for smoke, bad starting and rot. Anything else you'd expect when buying a car too.
  5. I thought the S14 had different studs?
  6. I kind of feel the same way..
  7. What about having the standard turbos reconed with 360 degree bearings?
  8. Ball park figure to getting a tracker suplied and fitted mate?
  9. Cool car, but £2000 i'd say. Take the nasty wheels off and you would have more chance of selling it tho. How much has he offered?
  10. Ebay by any chance? Somebody is selling a manual conversion, and says its from a uk car which has a stronger box... I didn't know they were different.
  11. Do you have a number for them? Anybody used them before?
  12. I'll get my coat:oops:
  13. My Import impreza experiance ran out in 1997 then!!
  14. I give up... Any joy with the spoiler mukka?
  15. 99 WRX and STI's were still imports. And the WRX wouldn't have had the same power as an STI, why would peopel buy the STI? They didn't do them in the uk until the bug eye, which were 215bhp WRX, and 265BHP STI. Subaru would do you a PPP (prodrive performance pack) for around £2k, which took the WRX to 265bhp, and the STI to 305bhp.
  16. Should be close. They feel fast as standard anyway. The power is always there, no need to rev it. Ive always said, and impreza is the fastest car you need on the road. The way it makes it power, not much would beat it on the road. I'd have another.
  17. £15.83 for 5lts inc vat
  18. I asked Opie, and this is what he said... Hi I would use a 5w-40 synthetic and you will find those through the link below. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-656-5w-40.aspx Out of those, the best ones are the Fuchs/Silkolene Pro S, Motul 300V, Redline and Gulf Competition. The Motul 8100 X-Cess, Millers XFS, Fuchs Supersyn and Mobil Synt S are good, cheaper alternatives. As a budget choice, a 10w-40 will be fine and I would either go for the Fuchs XTR, Millers XSS or Motul 6100 http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-657-10w-40.aspx You need a 75w-90 for the gearbox and diff*and here are the ones we have. * http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-673-75w-90.aspx * If you want to go for the best, the Millers CRX 75w-90 NT, Motul Gear 300, Redline MT90 and Millers TRX are ideal for the gearbox. The Castrol Syntrax, Motul Motylgear and Fuchs Gear Syn are all decent alternatives. In the diff you need a GL5 oil, so any of those are fine, other than the Redline MT90, but the Redline 75w-90 GL5 is ideal for the diff.
  19. 3 posts whilst i was writing! Just shows peopel are willing to help on this site!
