STI's were tuned from the factory WRX's.

If its a turbo 2000 then its a uk car, so not a wrx or an STI. An S reg STI would have a red top engine and 276bhp standard. A uk S reg will have around 208bhp i think. Square or oblong rear plate? But if it is a 2000 turbo, its a uk.

Ive sold 2 cars abroad. 1 to finland 1 to germany. Both paid a deposit without seeing the car, and used the phone and email. You get a feeling for whats genuine or not.

I did it to my 200sx in a day. Would do it to the zed if it was an auto! The conversion sell for around £6/700 from what ive seen. Then you might want a better clutch - £300ish. Your looking around a grand, but i'd do it!

I think the deal with swopping it for anothe zed is the best. You still get to keep a zed, but have a bit of money too!:thumbup:

My mate bought a damaged 55 plate Vert for £5k (long story) Wasn't recorded, cost around £2000 to fix, and sold it for £18000 i think!
