Ok, thought i'd update this thread to keep track of it all. Zedworld got it running pritty much straight away after finding a few problems, none too major. After they got it running, they finished putting it together including the exhaust. When i went to pick it up, it wouldn't start. I left it with this, and after investigating, they found the cam timing was way out, maybe due to the back pressure from the exhaust knocking it out, as it ran before the exhaust went back on. They sorted that out and ive now got the car back. The numpty recovery driver hit the bumper on the trucks ramp, so the front bumper is split. I dont know if i should repair it, fit a standard one, or buy a Scarab one... With the car home, i started it, to find it smokes like a trooper! Im hoping its the PCV valves, and will update this with my progress..

I got my Zed back from Zedworld today! All running, i never thought the day would come! I got a recovery truck to pick it up, as no tax or mot. I know i could book it for a mot and be legal to drive it, but it would be my luck i'd get pulled and they would find something to do me on! My normal man, got somebody else to pick it up, who rammed it up the truck and split the front bumper!! I was still happy to have it back tho, and i was debating putting the standard UK bumper on anyway. Its smoking like a trooper tho! Im convinced its not the turbos, they were good, and the smoke is from both exhausts. Im hoping its the PCV valves, will be getting them out to test.. Why cant things just be straight forward??? Just want to say a big THANK YOU to Jeff and Jamie and Zedworld. If they hadn't have given it their magic touch, i would have lost faith and abandoned the project!

The new one. I was on track with one in December 09, i was in the M3. The GTR was very fast! Did 4.4mpg round Oulton tho!

Oh yeah i forgot, the GTR was 1 of the choices! Not one there today tho. I was tempted by that, got to be the touring car tho...

I was there less than 2 hours! Booked through "The Racing School". Think it was around £100. They drive you round the track in a mini cooper S first for 2 laps, then out in the car of choice.

I was expecting a Holden, but i think it was a chevvy. Haven't seen one before.. LHD tho, which was a bit funny placing its in the right place not hitting the grass!

Flat out! Only got upto 4th tho. I bet they say the same to everybody, but he said i went faster than anybody else he's took out in it. Most people went for the Ferrari. I dont see the appeal if im honest. It wasn't the power that impressed me, it was the way it put it down, the brakes, the cornering... I loved it!!

The V8 touring car on the left. My father in law bought me a gift day for christmas 09! Finally got round to doing it. Best car i have ever driven. I could choose from, Audi R8, Lambo, 360, 911 turbo, elise, or the touring car. I thought, at some point, ive got a chance of knowing somebody with one of the road cars, im never likely to know somebody with a touring car! Glad i went for this one. Would recommend everybody to do it. I want a V8!!!
