Not much of an update. Haven't had chance to change the PCV valves which i think is causing the smokey exhuast! Thought i'd take the rotten tailgate off my breaker and put it on this as its red not silver! I like it without the tailgate! I think it looks more finished with the red one on. I know its the wrong red tho! When i get the respray, i'll be using the silver tailgate as this is one quite rotten!

I'll do a deal with you on a set of HKS bovs...:lol:

I heard more horror stories than good when i was looking in to it. Think thats what put me off doing it for so long. Id had enough of contact lens and my nippa smashed my glasses, i thought nows the time. I did all my homework first, the risks are a low percentage really. They do thousands of them. My eyes were only 1% out tho..

I got mine done end of November. Hurt like **** for a few days. Had 20/20 vision within a week. My eyes now sometimes feel tired more so than i before, but maybe im sleeping less! I'd do it again. Went with Optimax and paid £1200

The Red pipes seem to be linked to the boost controller, and go to a BLITZ box.

My breaker have a few electrical toys on it. BLITZ SBC-id boost controller BLITZ SBC-id power meter Apexi AFC air fuel piggy back computer Apexi EGT gauges with probes tapped into turbocharger downpipes I did want to put them on my car, but i think i just going to do the normal to get it close to 400bhp, and leave it there. I want to sell these parts, or even have them off the breaker and put to one side in case i do want to fit them to my car, the boost controller mainly. I dont have the first idea of how to get them off the car! Ive got all the wires down to the ECU, but where it goes through to the engine bay, i'm lost.. What im after, is to know if anybody local would strip it for me for beer tokens? Either that, or if anybody wants to buy them, and strip it themselves which might help them, and i'll do them a bit cheaper. Help please. Also, would anybody come to me and swop them over to my car for beer money? Just for a idea... Thanks

Its not very fast to be honest. Lovely sound tho! Its a very straight car, a few hundred quid would see it very tidy. Interior is nice, the seats are comfy, yet supportive, im loving it.. I'll get some better pictures of it. The wife had the baby tuesday, so not getting any sleep! Little boy so ive got 1 of each now. I'll teach him how to drift soon enough..

After having a V8 touring car experience bought for me, i had the V8 bug.. I had to have a BMW, so when a friend was selling his e34 540, i had to have a look. Just brought it home. Here it is... Its so much more of a car than i remember. Everything seems to work, even has an electric rear roller blind. 12 months mot, tax out the end of the month. Full straight through exhuast, and decat, but isn't too loud. Lowered slightly, M5 replica wheels with 10mm spacers on the front. LSD He has the M5 bumpers but i dont think im too bothered about them tbh. What do you think?

Right, got my car on the road, but its smoking from both sides of the exhaust. I thought id look at the pcv valves first. Left side one first, looks oily so hoping its them. How the hell do you get them out? Spanner is to big, and hits the suspension turret. Socket gets on it, but no room for the rachet to move...

Dont think they do it mate. If it narrows it down, footman james dont. My brother couldn't find anybody.

I fancy getting mine drifting... Its not an ideal drift car, and way more expensive to fix than a 200sx for example, but i do love the 300zx!
