meeting in staffordshire
id be up for a meet in stafford somewhere, dates permitting!

Tyre profiles
got me some new rubber going on tomorrow! Decent tread on my current ones doesnt stop them being total cack in the wet. Although Yowsers comments about replacing worn bushes is next on my list of things to do - Are tension rod bushings and hicas rack bushings the main ones or are there others i should consider?
-
5.20 and its nearly dark ;((((
Forgot about this - positive thinking! once the days start getting longer its next stop summer! Makes November and December more manageable when you know its only downhill until 21st December

Had many trick or treaters?
no trick or treaters, worse! Drunk Students... We did hear screams outside our flat at around 2am, and then there was some blood on the ground by our gate... maybe someone was brutally murdered. :o Or maybe they're just being dicks. Still, have to keep a look out as my gfs car has had radio stolen and wing mirror smashed by them. Really hope noone takes a shine to my mazda im trying to sell thats parked outside.

i never know why we bother putting the clocks back... Who needs daylight at 6am anyways? sun rise at half 7 would be perfect, ta.

Midlands meet!
well, weather was georgeous considering its nearly november. We got... 3 cars! and one Landrover :) cheers to Lee, Rob and Batman for coming down - i'll set a date for another one in a couple of weeks and try and get up to the magic half dozen! One for the family album: Had a bit of a drive out round as well - if you think one zed sounds nice try two! Although for the record, we DIDN'T get overtaken by an RS4 doing 120, and we DEFINITELY didnt then give pursuit. Cos that would be irresponsible :p

Midlands meet!
by all means! might wanna leave now, as its at 2pm - Queens head pub, Meriden. CV7 7JP

Midlands meet!
weather looks alright for tomorrow :) which is just as well, my rear tyres are terrible in the wet! See all at 2pm!

why a 300zx?
it does hide its age very well! theres a ratty old golf parked outside out flats which looks horibble - rusted, faded, corroded with horrible cloth seats. But its 4 years newer than my G reg zed, which looks near mint! Plus, i love the rarity, and dammit they just dont make em like they used to! it epitomises low and wide. And all for a mere £3k - although reckon if i did have £10k it would still get my vote over a supra, RX7 or 3000GT.
-
Midlands meet!
i'll definitely be there! In the charcoal grey zed with white wheels. Im sure you'll be able to get a ride with someone, we arent all bringing plus 1s.
-
Midlands meet!
haha, good luck with the cleaning! I think Artzlogo is going to put us all to shame anyways!
-
Midlands meet!
3 days to go! are everyones zeds cleaned and working?
-
how many daily drivers are there?
I drive every day, although its only a whopping 2 miles to work! (hence why i can afford to run a twin turbo :D) although if it snows i'll walk. dont fancy that again! It does get a decent motorway or A road blast on a fairly regular basis mind - although id still say under 6000 miles a year easy.
-
Advice for a new start!
OMG you're going to have to put more pictures than that! Thats just teasing! Loving the wheels, are they 18s or 19s? also, get some more shots of the interior, looks mint!

normal unleaded prepare to tell me off
increased boost and thus higher compression would take advantage of a higher RON but 95 should be fine for standard engines.
-
Midlands meet!
Any more for any more? If the weather is anything like this one there might even be moments for the t tops down. Plus if not, theres always warming pub food! I think i'll phone ahead and let them know we're coming, just so they know whats going on if we do have a 'whos got the nicest exhaust note' comp...

normal unleaded prepare to tell me off

Future Newbie! Anyone from Leamington/Coventry?
might have to do a comparison on saturday - it sounds awesome, but had it sound tested at 99dB at 3/4 revs, drones a bit with the windows up.

Future Newbie! Anyone from Leamington/Coventry?
Well, here it is! the new beast! G Reg 1990 UK spec Twin turbo with 73k on the clock.Has a custom exhaust (possibly a tad loud) intake and BOVs, uprated intercoolers, 18" Rota GTR wheels. The front numberplate was my first mod! Next will probably be interior stuff as the standard one is a tad drab. And yes, maybe some clear side repeaters... I'll be showing it off at the midlands meet next saturday! :)
