  1. ive loved the running and thr HIIT we do, when your running you forget about the stresses fo the day as your thinking about where your going, still on 12 stone but better than the 14 i was at chrimbo though lol
  2. knees are a biit sore today, really enjoyed it and im doing the local parkrun on saturday (My bday treat to me) its 5k so should manage that quite easy after last nights 9k, sounds better in kilometers lol
  3. ive only ever managed just over 2 miles, the HIIT is working a treat, fitness levels have really improved and now ive got the right footwear its getting easier, working towards ten miles, im training with a group that is training for the great north run, wont be ready for that this year but ya never know for next? - - - Updated - - - oh and thanks mate
  4. well ive been using these for a couple weeks now and must say they have made a huge difference, i have just ran my longest distance so far (5.75 miles in 1:00:54) and no sign of shin splints, much better and felt great thanks for the advice people
  5. wasnt this advertised by a member on here, it came in as a trade in and he wanted to sell it on
  6. You want a decent smooth masonary paint if your doing the walls and ceiling, no cheap emulsion that will flake off if it gets damp
  7. Ive seen them before, not sure if you can still get them, another tip.for.more light is to paint your ceiling white and maybe your walls if you can be bothered, makes a big difference
  8. not sure on the regs as im not gas safe, its my neighbours house and british gas wouldnt do the work as the flue blows out and hits my house, its not a prob as its only condensation more or less my main concern is the blow off (15mm pipe that comes put the wall) its about 5 foot up the wall, it can have very hot water coming out if there is a fault, if charlie or anyone else for that matter is walking underneath we could get seriously injured, i use my alleyway a lot (its my alley and not thiers), im sure the blow off should come down the wall on the inside and come out a certain height from the ground? as said its been so long since i doone any plumbing im not sure on the rules and regs
  9. nope, filled the air vemt where the flue comes through with silicone lol terrible work aint it
  10. neighbour just had a new combi boiler fitted, got it done cheap apperently lol cant believe some people would knock out work like this and that others would actually pay for it, terrible work

  20. just had a call and i was right it should have been more, im now getting back £679 from my insurance, been a mission but its been a good way of saving lol
  21. Congrats mate, im sure you will do great
  22. sorry but sounds exactly like when my bottom end was gone, get under the bonnet and rev the engine, but do it like your blipping the throttle and hold for a second or so, sometimes mine only did it after a certain amount of revs, maybe over 3000rpm, so get it to 3000 rpm then try and blip it and see if it does it?
  23. Ticking noise could be stkcky tappet, but I had a zee and the bottom end was gone, sounded like a light cluncking from inside the engine rather than a tap, mayne like a hammer hitting a metal block?
  24. will give it a go, hopefully if we keep bumping this it can happen
  25. And facey have deleted it, someone didnt find it funny lok
