  1. had a combi for 8 year Chris never failed me once ....had teh drain line freeze once which made the combi boiler stop working last year during the real cold spell ..but not the boilers fault ,,..thawed out the drain line and up she fired ....it runs all teh heating and hot water and shower upstairs and down and bath rooms upstairs and down ..no loss of pressure. trick is to oversize the boiler for your requirements .....mine is for a bed and breakfast establishment ...love it !!

  6. lot of work gone into that Paddy ...normaly i detest with a passion the lambo doors and vileside front ..but somehow it all seems to work when its put together like that ...well done fella ....
  7. looking at your requirments ..you would need a forged piston set as well as the tubs..bigger injectors and uprated intercooler/ intercoolers depending if you go single fmic or twin side mounts, radiator and cooling would need upgrading, brakes, definatley clutch absolutley ...before you do this consider if you really need that much power ..for the road 370-400 rwhp is plenty ...and that can be had without much in the way of massive mods......tubos plenty to choose from Z1 do lots of kits for upgrades with lots of choices ...street applications or track and drag....
  8. i love the stags ....great with the t bar roof off look ......origional v8 was a brittle temperamental lump ...lots changed to rover v8 ....there are afew with TVR v8s fitted i still think it should have had a straight 6 twin cam lump in there

  23. actually you are all wrong ..the maximum speed you can do in 3rd gear is 70mph and 4th and 5th .......just the same 70mph :)
  24. fantastic motor you jammy sod ....pm me your addy and i will post you my old cassette to i pod adapter when i get home in a week ...its a cassett case with no tape in it but a tape head with a cable and a plug on the end for the earphone socket i dont use it anymore, and i would hate to see the stereo get changed i agree it should be kept 100 stock ...
  25. only issue i have heard of is failing radiators.....after 8 or 9 years the rads can develop corrossion issues and cause the cars to overheat . other than that a very nicly built machine, not in the same league for mini frugality when it comes to petrol but then again its the size of a golf and comparable to that !! ...interior is funky and airy and the chassis is very forgiving......more "in your face" than a golf or astra
