  3. well i am sat in my office in Kazakhstan 3000 miles away from home ...going through divorce so not feeling very festive ...sprouts are the least of my worries ..but the Christmas Music is blaring and i have a nice steaming hot cup of Yorrkshire tea so life aint all that bad and i have a white christmas :) Merry Christmas everyone
  4. that sounds good im home in January from the 5th
  5. in my experience Noel did a great job of trying to sort out the over fueling on my engine after a rebuild at zedworld however he couldnt find the source of a boost leak which was pegging the boost back ..the overfuelling was caused by the generic chip fitted at zedworld which didnt work well with my set up and the masive boost leak not picked up when the engine was built at zedworld ( the leak was on the weld of the PE 1420 turbo elbow ) picked up by Jimmer after my engine failed massively due to bore wash causing very low compression on the fresh engine, Jimmer was commissioned to do a rebuild, the boost leaks fettled engine rebuilt fully with newly honed bores, wiesco pistons Saved thank christ, and the car is now pulling like a train with Noels map still in and the boost set to 17psi ( correct me if im wrong Noel ) but i think that was the final setting ...the car feels very strong now but i know to optimise it really should be mapped again ....do not ever use or attempt to use a generic chip if your engine mods are anything but exhaust and intake mods.....if your mods are for high HP then get a professional dyno map done specifically for your set up Bore wash is a killer for engines , fresh or otherwise and i know a particular owner of an r33 GTR who had destructive issues with bore wash on a very expensive engine build and had to take the tuner to court to get back his money , it was eventually settled out of court but it shows even well respected tuners and garages make mistakes ...im not throwing mud here, this is just my experience,

  8. ive just stepped up from a long time not riding from my 600zxr ninja to a VFR 800 amazing machine ..like a turbine and great when the vtec kicks in ..and it doesnt hurt my wrists or back to ride it ...happy days
  9. Any chance of adding the links to Junkmans tutorials buddy
  10. Noel turbo noz does re mapping, for engine work Jimmer, body work Alan . there are others as good with a good reputation , do a search on the forum mate
  11. Jeffs bodyshop did my wide arch conversion 3 years ago and did a cracking job , no issues so far, saying that i havnt checked the drains in a while better get under the old girl and clean them of any debris flush the drain lines through from the targa , make sure what i put in is what i get out...a litre of thin flushing oil fed into the drain line at the targa with a squeezy bottle should give a litre ( slightly less ) in a catch bottle under the drain line, plus it coats the internal line of the drain allowing any water to slide away
  12. the Maclaren looks very chav in that green ...a nice cherry red or burnt orange or even Gulf colours would be nice
  13. far too many who get away with it
  14. will do Greg although im pretty sureits related to tehhazard switch asi was messing with that earlier a few weeks back ....what do they say ? if its not broken dont fix it ....!!!
  15. cheers guys i had an issue with the hazards a while back i bet that has come back and teh indiactors are not working due to the mod i made (which has probably come loose..) ta very much steve
  16. as the thread says the indicators have stopped working from the indicator arm, they work from the hazards but not even a click from the arm any ideas anyone know the fuse to check or relay ? im in Kaz at the moment so cant sort it anyway but want it working 100% when i get home ..loving the jimmer build . pulls like a train and its only on standard boost .... :)
  17. they would look even cooler sunk into the wall and flush as oposed to siiting on it ......
  18. hope i never see another rig as long as i live..... 13 years shuttling from rig to rig every day for the last 7 of those 13 ..law of averages says i got away without being involved in a copter crash by the skin of my teeth
  19. lol ....yeah bloody bikers ......road hogs and hooligans :)
  20. just bought this ........lovely
  21. should have asked Jimmer to take you out in mine while he had it steve .......im well up there in the 500 plus figure and its very progressive and turbine like ..relentless shove in the back , new turbo company opened up called Owen developments ..pretty much anything custom made i believe ....really for the high horse power TOTB nutters though probably
  22. nice one Lee....thats the zed spirit right there !!! ...like the name and graphic but i would personally have a Phoenix badge made same size as the nissan one for the nose ....nice discrete and personal ...and wont detract from the over all look of the car
  23. love the colour choice but i do think your making a huge mistake on anthraicte wheels on a gold car ...even with a polished lip they are going to clash and detract IMHO the centres need to be much darker than anthracite to set off the gold and make it work to its best ....but as i said love the gold colour.....used to love ford aztec gold
  24. dont go for a generic chip like the one that was fitted in my zed on the first re-build it caused massive bore wash and ruined a perfectly good engine ..go for a rolling road re map i hope you have upgraded brakes , the clutch standard in a manual wont handle anything much over 350 bhp so a new clutch is a must. 450 bhp on the road is scary enough would highly recomend the PE 1420 tubs but getting them re built if they go wrong is a nightmare ..i think CR turbos had a go at mine and couldnt get the parts for them ..eggs has the same issue with his PE 1420's but they spool so well and strongly right through the rev range ...deffo an exhaust from infinity exhausts a 3 inch system and biger intercooler pipes ...its all about torque and torque delivery with VG30dtt engine get that right and the BHP level is pretty secondary ...
  25. Lee, i just dont have the words, having gone through crap after crap myself i truly feel your pain....,so glad you are ok though fella
