  5. lol...It seems to be working better now it has a hole in it... I nearly fried the exhaust man yesterday when he asked to see it  Should be even better once I have the straight throughs on there

  7. ooopppssss that'll be the maf being fooled by the re-circ plug falling out then  Quite a tasty little number that hole i thought...lol
  8. :p I went to a place yesterday and he pulled it of and measured it up and has made a set of straight through pipes for me  Im going back this afternoon for him to cut me flanges off  and weld them on the new pipes. Its looking good so far...He said it would be under £100 and seeing as no one seemed to be able to supply a set of straight through pipes for me I thought this would see me through till I get new backboxes with the whole pipe as one piece. (Incidently the baffles inside were just rolling about as free as the wind )
  9. ONLY JOKING       It all sounds very good... well have to wait n see if anyones tried them or heard of them :)

  11. lol...oooopppssss...i bought some more bodywork last night...a bonnet :slap: If its not untill june then I might be able to swing that one then...will have to slap myself if I spend anymore Heres the linky for the Brands Hatch day ;) Brands Hatch Race Day
  12. Tony jardine was there racing in an Aston Martin DB6 and Stirling Mosses old race car was there along with Rowen Atkinson(no..he wasnt in the three wheeler) No track time for me but did have a great day as I was very kindly given a vip pass which included free champers...food...pit...primery seating and all access. There was every car type there you could imagine along with some ultra rare models. But above all...the two cars my mate did the engines for Won both races :nana2: The Fastest of the day was the big blue Aston Martin DB6 tuned by JMB services and my word did it go...it took me about 8 attempts to get this MOFO on camera and even then hes just leaving the frame..lol At one stage I was told there were about 2.5million pounds worth of motors in the pitlane waitin to go on track..lol..insurance...if you can afford those cars you dont need it  My favorite car of the day without a doubt was the new DBRs9. Its the Turqoise blue one...I think its about £170,000 but thats on the road...underneath was more blingy than a blingy thing. The whole car shouted "drive me you twat" and it had a very interesting airflow system for the front cooling. The air goes in the front and through the rad which is mounted at a 45o angle and the air then pushes straight up and out of the front bonnet deflected by a geogeous carbon panel so as to stop any heat from the rad goin back onto the engine...So obvious why has no one done this before?????????if you think about it manufactures spend soooooooo much on electronics and yet forget the basic stuff...Why blow hot air from your rad straight onto your engine again???(apart from cold start its fookin dumb) Any how...thats enough rambling.... Go and have a butchers at these and theres quite an artistic veiw of a beautifull 911 in the pit garage which im quite pleased with :p Brands Hatch Race Day
  13. Would be good but I need to start saving and stop spending realisticly...Ive spent waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than I should off this year since getting the Z and am now bearing the brunt of my actions. My aston martin buddy took me to Brands hatch last saturday which was great fun...I hadnt been there since 2001 when I trackday'd the Noz beemer. Hes now offering to take me to spa and i dont think i can manage this either otherwise id be joining you...also had the oppertunity to go to Nurburg ring but yet again stupid me has overspent :slap: oh well...Im gonna wanna see piccys though andy ;) speaking of which...I have loads from brands hatch with a multitude of car varietys so will be posting them up soon...just as soon as I get em all on photobucket :nana2:
  14. lol....This may have some bearing on the noise level me thinks  Not sure why it did what it did but i was doin about 70mph ;) and one of the old re-circ blanking plugs(had new ones made now) popped out and caused it to misfire and it would only rev to about 4500 max with the symptoms of a dodgy maf but within a few secounds the exhaust tone suddenly doubled and I think this was the reason...the middle box had shot its load  but why did it blow a hole 5" hole in it? Anyone?
  15. I like the drinks bottle holder in the middle :D (yes i know its an extinguisher...BUT my cider would fit straight into that for the weekends away  )
  16. Yup...would look nice andy...you actually doin a trackday there?...or just watchin?...either way should be fun :nana2:
  17. Nice interior...I dont think the cobra stripes look too bad...at least the z has the front end that lends itself to the look...unlike those fookin mini poopers that are shat
  18. Good Good...just what I wanted to hear  Thanks fellas
  19. I think he made a few up the next day as he already had the machines set up....if any peeps are interested lemme know as this is purely a one off ;)
  20. SEE  Would a few of these help bud :duffer: :duffer: :duffer:
