Yes this is a computer based forum but it is also viable via a moby so you might want to check first before ripping into yet another newbie... Well... Ive found a place that will flow test them and its pretty cheap too :duffer: Were talkin £10 to check them all on some ultrasonic thingy and if they need sortin then a strip and new internals is £25 an injector... but im hoping they should be ok. Im currently negotiating a price for the 555's so fingers crossed :)

lol...RESULT :duffer: I think all filters will do this as the water droplets will upset the fine wire in the maf... The way to stop it is to fit a splash panel just inside the bumper in front of the filter... I have one waiting to go but never quite get round to it :D I have also read on here that others have fitted some sort of sheilding over the top of the filter as well to stop water dripping down onto it allthough you dont have a vented nose panel so that shouldnt be happining to yours but i would definately get a splash panel These were fitted as standard i think on the Z but were often removed when fitting an aftermarket front bumper. I have also heard suggestions of people using a special MotoX filter oil on the filter to dispell the water but i would not reccomend this as it would then also collect dust and dirt very quickly and you would have to remove and clean the filter quite often :nono: Glad you found the problem anyway... :duffer:
