on my Z the injector plugs are green ?

just reading through again, have you closed the conecters up inside the green plug, if you look at the pulg your see a litlle gap where ypu can get a very small screw driver. push them down ( not all the way) so it looks abit like a V shape. This was the last thing i tried on mine and it worked :)

mine showed code 21 but thats just a genral Ignition system code, id still put money of injector wire mate

this may sound silly but which pary of the injector are you putting the screw driver on? its best with a long screw driver and place on top of the plate that holds the injectors in place (should be a loud click). I had a problem with mine on sunday :(

not had my zed long, but im doing around 70 miles to £20 ?

This should be very simple for one you but not me :) I am after the green injector conecters but dont know the name or type of them, if i use google i get eveything but the one im after....... anybody please?? Ta

I was looking at the casing and part of it runs under the filler cap and looked depressed, so I cut it back to show the wire and it had gone hard from the heat and snaped in my hand as I wiggled it.

right thanks for all the input guy turned out to be one broken wire on the left side coil pack and broken conecter on the right side injector! WTF is what i said as well God only knows why they both packed up this morning? maybe karma because i laughed at a chav that got a smack in the face at McDs by an old dear yesterday :)

just been out with the screw driver and the sound fine if i move the wires around still click away nicely. im thinking ptu but dont have a spare or anyone i can swap with, do they come apart?

Quick up date, been back to look again and it's the first pack on either side if I pull off do nothing but the back four do ?

cheers jeff i have had all the plugs out aswell and they all look even and swapped coil pack with others. will checking the fault codes help me or will it not pick up this typr of fault?

Went out to the car this morning and it started up with a misfire ! Had the ptu off and cleaned all the injectors plugs off and cleaned! It seem like it's running on 4 if I pull one of the coil leads off it makes no diff and if do it on the other side it does nothing also?? If your stood in front looking at the car it's the first 1 on your left and I'm pretty sure it was the 3rd on the left that did nothing when pulled? Do they have limp mode when there's a fault and go down to 4 ? But I'm still stumped on what's causing the misfire help please :)

Cheers guys I was looking at doing myself to save on money that could be spent elsewhere. I'm not planning on keeping the wheels is just they are shabby at the mo ( think they are cheap one tbh)

CJeers mate, I should also add I am on the borrow for a set of wheels to fit and use fie maybe a week as this is my daily car, so if theirs anyone in or close to Swindon that can help it would be a big favor ???

Hey all I am going to have a go at spraying my wheels either mat black or gun metal gray. So what In after is some advice on spraying, what sort primer will I need do they need to rubbed down if so what grade papper etc etc so any help would be great but please keep it simple and to add to the fun I'm also colour blind :) thanks mat

the outer strip on mine was reused, i can tell because theirs marks all the way around and it annoys the fook out of me and looks sh*t. if you can get them go for a new one bud :)

Ahh i see thought it might of been off the later spec or something. look for some where to start on mine as most is going to be cosmtic, I like things to work and fit properly (im anal like that) as a few things have been taken apart in it and not put back with great care. thinking about LED in the cluster but ot sure on red to match the car or blue because it look abit more modern?
