  5. Got mine fitted of alan and daz at bodymech a while back..fitted it but due to the changes in my steering system my opinion maybe unreliable but i definitley dont think its made it sloppy as such

  7. Yeah same, My RH headlamp bowl was a bit worse for wear and the outer wing mounting points was crumpled up.

  14. Haha you the boss! I got it from Canada dougal. It costs a fair amount to get it over here Also getting that engine in is only part one of the plan... Part 2 will come after its actually been used haha
  15. heater matrix foobard? If not bled properly the system pressure will exceed normal operating pressures as air expands so much more than coolant. Problem im having with mine now. Your sympoms definatly point in that direction. Isolate the heater matrix by joining the 2 hoses that go from the back of the engine to the bulkhead together for a temporary bypass...aslo if the water stops flooding your cabin you know thats the issue. I wouldnt use it until youve done something as the ECU sits where your water is going. Edit: my grammar is terrible when using iphone..
  16. Just a little updated from my mapping session. I have Gravigard'd my rear arches before they got destroyed by stone chips. (no pics but could easily update later) I have purchased a lovely sized K&N filter as mine was somewhat in adequate. On my way home from the mapping session when giving it short bursts of the WOT my oil temps were shooting up. The mixture was extremely rich before mapping which makes me think it was a good thing he was so close as the fuel may have made it into the oil system and thinned it. I intended to go with noel as he is a wizard with this stuff but again timings werent brilliant and i was impatient. To remede this i have a Mocal 13 or 16 (cant remeber) 235mm oil cooler with a thermostatic sandwich plate. And for the purpose of Mondo on here i took a pic of one of my seats in the sunlight so i may aswell bulk the post up ;)
  17. Looks Legit :w00t: Been out of touch for a bit with top gear as they're setups were irritating when planning a stunt. however i did enjoy his banter.
  18. massive poop, your alt has a voltage regulator and most ecu's (correct me if im wrong please noel) have corrections for voltages with coil dwell time and such. Clean the orignal earthing points and check for corroded cables other than that they should be fine too. Adding more to wires wont do much if your main battery return is damaged.
  19. i have the P zero's on my clio and they are good. I have the federal rsr595's on my zed and on my onl drive i had in it since its modifications they are average in the wet (but i knew that)
  20. yes im not far from baz ;) and his zed's so we should meet up deffo buddy. im off the week after next to could be a good time for me. You should deffo look into the evo scene if youre looking to dip your toes into different cars. They are awesome beasts.
  21. cheers buddy, im right now buying a mocal oil cooler with a dry flow intake so i can get it back on the road again. you got any pics of the M3? you been down the evo route? i know you had an r32 which must have been pretty cool. I would love an aui quattro....but as you know, prices aint low. Your more than welcome for a trip buddy, you did after all persuade me to get a manual conversion in my previous zed so pretty much owe you that much. Probably the most eventful drive ive ever been on tbh haha.
