  1. didnt see that wheel... Yeah the cost was very close to that but without cleaning the back of the faces, and the barrels, due to me rears being chromed. So that can wait and ill do it myself once my build is actually on its wheels.
  2. i was quoted a small fortune to get me work equips like that :(
  3. i agree with funky and joely, they can make a boring alloy on a plop car look so much better...and your car and wheels are decent so it would be a decent place to start.
  4. here is my underside, i too will only be using it on dry summer days, so i went for a paint. Will see how it fares in the arches with stonechips but its fairly thick stuff Ignore the caliper it was there to test fit the brake line  ....And the scab in the bottom left, i missed it intentionally ;)
  5. impressive buddy, i bet your chuffed.
  6. well that didnt take long at all! haha
  7. I'm with noz on the clio. I have a 182 cup as my daily commuter, and I give it nothing but sh!t, it handles like a go Kart and goes well, with a 40mpg return! I would like to strip it and track it though. Although I want to dip my toes in the drifting pond if I'm honest!
  8. Why not put more money into your zed? There is a lot that can be done to increase all aspects and you still keep the 'unknown' of a zed
  9. Nope that's only really for compression test, pulling the fuel relay allows the oil to be where it should at the pressure it should when the engine is running. Especially as a large percentage of engine wear is on first start when cold. If I have any advice is, take your time and ask as many questions as you can/want. It really isn't that hard to do the job it's just the confidence starting one.
  10. Cheers buddy work has been manic on sentry too -_-
  11. my car wont be used in extreme conditions or where i dont think it will be worth taking it out...IE only the summer on the better days.
