My SWB Zed...
Yeah it stank man, although it was shipped from Canada with oil still in it. What I drained looks nice but that was horrid. Someone did a lab experiment comparing e-fans and this one produced around 3400 on hi speed. On the same experiment he tested a spal 16" which was rated at 3200cfm but actually produced 1800  Should be more than capable

My SWB Zed...
Here is my replacement fan which of course electric. It comes from a lincoln Mk8 there are a number of reasons for choosing this over the stock viscous fan but one of the being there wasnt enough room for the viscous fan. And some other random shots

My SWB Zed...
Here are some after shots of the LH sill in need of a skim of filler as my grinder was slightly moe aggressive than i wanted. Haha dont mind the dents, its all about character :helpsmilie: After welding up the sills, im going to drill a convenient hole above them to fill them with this stuff!

My SWB Zed...
Im no pro at welding im the first to admit that so here was my first attempt at welding my RH sill up with a patch repair Welding upside down sucks ass.... and i wasnt happy with it so i cut it out and started again! Any eagle eyed peeps would notice the line of the arch lip is too big where i have repaired it...and too be honest its because both arches were missing it so i had no idea how big it should be so when body mech have a play they can cut it to size...more is sometimes better ;)

My SWB Zed...
Casual pic of my car as it is at the moment in the garage awaiting engine (very dusty) Stripped the intake manifold and runners off with the fuel rail and coolant system to give it a clean. Gave it some paint as it looked mucky and boring

My SWB Zed...
its that time again The dilemma i had a while back was my engine wouldnt clear the subframe/steering rack due to the sump. so i chopped it up and put some replacement plates in. after cutting it im glad i did as the oil was like stodgy muck! (i did drain it for a few days before cutting so what you see is what was tucked away in the crevices) As you can see the last picture the has filler on the sump...it just so happened the piece of sheet metal i used was my mixing surface earlier haha Also in total i have lost around half a liter of oil capacity. Although i plan to overfill this anyway by half a liter im fitting it with an oil cooler which they don't come with standard.

Who's got the widest rear tyres on a standard body?
285 on a 11.5. I could get it under the arch if I had adjustable control arms With rolled arches

My chassis overhaul.
I cut the nut off as I no longer had any weight on the joint to stop it turning because I removed it from the car. I did get one of them out with a large amount of heat, but that was the only one. I used a vice and a large socket to press them in. Think it was my hub nut socket 35mm beasty.

My chassis overhaul.
I found all ball joints as individual items and they are pressed in. A right bitch it get out too. Held in with as you said circlips. If I did it again I'd get the drift works stuff with adjustable rose joints and powder coat them a less crap colour Edit: don't lose the cones on the ball joints!

No spark on cylinder 4 :(
How about swapping coil packs and spark plugs between another cylinder to see if the fault moves. If it does your working coil and plug don't work, if it doesn't it's the wiring. I'd start the engine and move all the harness about check for any discolouration on terminals. Maybe even cont check the return and volts check the supplies. If that's all good I'd maybe borrow another maf ptu before changing the ecu

What now!
the AC fan is activated as a last stand kinda thing if the viscous coesnt cool enough. Get a decent aftermarket gauge. the stock gauge is pretty vague in telling you whats actually happening.
