  1. lumpy shakey usually means misfire. your idle doesnt really affect this. look in the direction of MAF > PTU > coils/injectors disconnect each coil at a time until the engine doesnt seem affected by that coil...they you have found the start of the bread crum trail

  9. I used rust bullet yet to see how it fairs, also top coated it with rustoleum combi. That stuff is thick I really wouldn't be glad your under seal is standard zairs. Mine was and it was a nightmare to get off being so thick! But I found surface rust under it so I wouldn't be overjoyed heh.

  11. Edit: first time ive been called adam on this forum.. haha
  12. tapping a hole with remnants of an old thread in it isnt a brilliant idea, so drilling it is a nice way to get a good tap, wether or not its ally. Helicoil steve ;)
  13. im sure if you contacted wiring specialties they could provide you with one, but id hate to see the price. I haven't touched mine in my build as its big and cumbersome. i have only cleaned it, however next time i strip it i plan to make my own as there is just so much necessary wiring there.
  14. yep cmon dicky, stop hogging the knowledge
  15. the passenger side yes, there is 2 connectors in there which you can disconnect in the passenger footwell, and then just undo the fir tree cable ties.
  16. that vac line going back past the LH brake line can go too, thats the carbon canister vent to the top of the tank.
  17. as steve said if you convert to a N/a pot and pump you can remove all the crap on the RH inner wing, or the left wing as you look at the picture. The Pas pot will be obviously replaced with one like that just less outlets. wirings wise...not much
  18. thats awesome buddy seen these on lees car and been wanting to sneak off with them :pinch:
  19. id have a go at helicoil, then no drilling required! i cant remeber the angle of the starter but the 5 o clock position rings a bell? Ive been staring at my adapter plate for the last few days and still cant remeber
