You only need the door glass fabricating...Ask plastics 4 U who already have the SWB pattern and design.You will probably need to send a sample glass to them. The rear and rear quarters you can just use flat polycarb cut to shape from a local supplier.

So .... getting back on track. the reason Mark put one of his Automodz stickers on the car was he had done work on the car for me. Basically I asked Mark to put my new NA engine in the car. i simply cant do jobs like that on my own at home now. I went to help him and the swap went smoothly enough. However getting the car to run proved almost impossible due to a whole bag of gremlins and dodgy components.None of which were Marks fault Wrong injectors (my fault), terribly made Z1 throttle bodies, the usual mystery electrics faults etc etc. Plus overfuelling killing a set of plugs Mark and his lad worked their way through all of it and I ended up bringing the car home running on its original Central 20 Racing and a MAF!!! Finally my mate Steve was able to come to my place today and get it back running reasonably well on the Emerald ECU. Mark came over to assist. It is booked in to Emerald for a full remap later this month but in the meantime it looks good enough to make Japfest and probably go on track using modest revs . So tonite I have been for a drive with the Emerald on Closed loop self learning mode. A few sessions this week should get it 90% right First impressions are that the engine has been nicely built and it is quicker. Im very happy and relieved. A big thanks to Mark for all his hard work and efforts with this job.

The correct size and thickness o rings are available from Nissan but are pricey. Universal o ring kits will do the job. In the meantime some RTV silicone will seal up your existing o rings.

That one is running 350bhp. It was turned down to avoid traction issues. Its still very very quick.

Come along to a York raceway meeting before TOTB. I will be going. There is a meet for 300ZX proposed for two weeks before TOTB. Ideal opportunity to find out what to do etc with not many spectators looking on. Like Bob Im only too pleased to advise on some aspects of how to do it. Suspension settings. tyres pressures. Watching the lights to launch etc etc

i have been the last three years with Bob. This year I am taking part. Fact. Why??? well i enjoy running 1/4 miles. I want to have an independant mesurement of my top speed. By the time the event comes round I will have my new high(er) performance engine finally fitted so it will be a great opportunity to compare my own times I have achieved previously at York, Santa Pod and Top speed runs at Bruntingthorpe My NA wont feature in the top results but that is of no importance to me. There are threads dating back from ALL the times Bob n me have been if you search for them.

It does consume hundreds of hours. It also consumes thousands of pounds.

Predicting how many runs you get on any given day at the Pod is just impossible. Depends on weather. When you get there. What event it is. How many stoppages there are for oil on track/debris/accidents etc. Number of other people etc etc.

With TOTB on 26/27 Jul this might be a good opportunity for final testing/shakedown. The main danger is breaking something and not getting it fixed in time for TOTB:scared: Its a two day meet Sat 12 and Sun 13. Both days have rounds of the newly announced JDM -DRC sreies which Im tempted to enter.

Its not for my benefit!!! they were never available for the SWB in the past so no interest to me. Its for the benefit of potential buyers I dont see any feedback from selling any in the past year or so. Its one thing to say you can supply something. Its something else when he will need to persuade the panel maker to make a set. Selling something that is not actually made can lead to complications. Im not saying it will but.................................. Buyer beware.
