Sep 25th. NA day at Santa Pod
Neil, an N/A 300zx is a Normally Aspirated 300ZX(ie no turbos) The day we have picked is a Public Test Day so anyone can attend in any make or model of car. HOWEVER! the concept of the N/A day at the pod was to encourage some first time drag racers along in N/A cars with the understanding that they would ONLY run against similar N/A cars. I am going to give some tips and advice on the day to anyone who wishes to listen. This will be for the benefit of complete newcomers or " Pod virgins". Chunk will be on hand also with advice/encouragement/tips etc. as both of us are regular pod people with a fair understanding of Santa pod and quite a bit of racing experience. The club has put up some trohies, which will be given out on the day. So all club members are welcome to what I hope will be a fun day. You Neil, and anyone else for that matter are welcome to listen to our advice n tips. But we wont have any TTs lining up with N/As. Nothing to stop you having your own run offs tho.! Fastest TT of the day etc! Red vs black!!?? Or anyone who just wants to turn up and see wot its all about? Thats OK too. Give you an idea for next season maybe?? Or put you off for ever(unlikely) One thing is sure tho.... If you dont come ... you will never REALLY know wot its like. If you are a bit shy, quiet etc you dont even need to decide til the day. just let Chunk or me know when you arrive. We are easy to find.... Chunk is the fat git in the wheelchair and Im old, grey n nearly bald!! JUST BE THERE! BTW... We will only publicise times and speeds of those who wish to have them published. And any adverse /innapropriate posts after the event WILL be moderated.

Japshow, Santa pod, 9th October
- Next mids meet
Hola Amigos! Im just back from 2 weeks on the Costa del Sol. Might be able to get to this one. It will need to be a 240Z meet as well as 300Zx as im still waiting for Uncle Sams men to make me a CF propshaft and send it to me.- Welding
Just make a good strong job. when its skimmed over with a little filler and painted up,no one will know what yove done.- Streering Rack
Well it looks like a nice car for not a lot of money, but hey! wot do I know?? On the parts front, I have a NA rack available for sale and all the hoses if you do decide you need anything. BUT Im off to Spain tomorro for a coule of weeks. PM me after that if you want anything. Oh lastly. IMHO Keep the NA... forget about getting a Twin Trouble model. :nono: - My car is famous
I know, I know, but I go out to work as well . Its just so hard making posts like this that have a real significance to them - My car is famous
No worries Mate!! You are just a "frequent poster " at the mo, but SOON youwill be entering the []WHORE ZONE] :slap:- Who the F*ck did this?
Could be more than half of the Great(NOT)British Public. Welcome to life in 21st century Britain, the land where nothing matters anymore, and nobody(well almost nobody) give a toss. And the really sad part is that we are now seeing a whole new generation of people growing up who now accept that this attitude is normal/acceptable. Anyone got a spare gun?????- failed
Wot? You mean like "overloaded with empty Stella Cans" :smash: "Washer bottle not clearing screen due to being filled with Stella"- Tech spech
Actually its a CHEAP, OUTDATED sports coupe once made by a company who now have gone bust , because they persisted in making outdated crap that fell to pieces even before it left the showrooms. Belongs in a family line of cars of similar dismal quality n looks such as the 45 and all that 800 series crap. And dont get me started about the previous rubbish like 400 series!! The surprise for me was not that Rover went bust, but the fact it didnt happen 10 years ago. Ya got that. :) Now I prsonally dont have a problem with people buying Rovers... Its a free country and it aint my money your spending... so go ahead anyone who wants to....... Just dont park the fooker outside my house! :nono: - My car is famous
It wouldnt be anything to do with getting your post count up to 1000 would it??? No , of course not, how silly of me to even think about it!! :nono: - What shall i do with my central 20 chip
Your whole reply,Lymon is interesting indeed. I was just wondering if you or anyone else has any experience of the Central 20 on the NA engine?? I know we NA people are in a minority here in the UK but we are an interested and inquiring lot really! :) My limited experience with my car which arrived with this chip seems to bear out the rich fuel ratio bit. But just to help an inquisitive newbie a bit more can you enlighten me a bit more on what "aggressive " means in THIS context and its relationship to Octane rating?? Pleeze????- What shall i do with my central 20 chip
Does anyone really know what it does and how it achieves its result(whatever that result might be) I "discovered" one on my NA and didnt know what it was till I saw a reference to Central 20 on the forum somewhere.(thick or wot? I know! LOL) Ie is it a bolt on goody on its own, what type of mods help it to work best. Im guessing there are different versions for TTs n NAs?? Anyone?- POll IMHO
You mean like this?http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=10328- A story of woe.
Really sorry to hear this tale of woe. I might be able to help with some trim and clips etc. I recently bought a badly damaged 92 JDM spec NA 2+2 cos I wanted a spare eng/box for my car. Some trim was damaged but I have kept anything that was useable. HTH- Are these tyres any good??
Nice tyre... shame about the width! 225 is only the same as Jap spec standard 16" ones :nono:- urgent help needed for SW posse
Changing the nut behind the wheel often helps too!  - urgent help needed for SW posse
Marcus, do you mean the yellow 20A one that lives at the front of the big fuse/relays box in the engine bay. If so then that isnt a Nissan part, any car shop(even Halfrauds) will have it. HTH?- Pod on Sunday?
Awaiting some muppetts in California making me a CF prop to replace the fooked prop I now have. I Woz planning on it being here by now but............NO IT FOOKIN ISNT!  So the anwer is no,sorry.- Chunks in a fast twat mag
He aint drivin by guys, he woz parked there all fookin day  - so who has contemplated converting to gas??
100% AGREE! Wot a stoooooooooopid idea :smash:- Differences between SWB LWB?
NOOOOOOOOOO Rich we dont want any young Chavs trying slicktops!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Rim Codes
Having the handed wheels fitted correctly avoids comments like ... "nice car mate, shame about them wheels"..etc :nono:  You are correct about the air to brakes bit BTW the slots are handed to aid airflow to the brakes. Look at them and you will see wot I mean. ;)- SWB non targa N/A - N reg h'much it worth?
No !! the SWB bit is THE BEST BIT   MMMMh!! SWB,Slick,NA,manwell AND series 2!!!  It dont get much better!!! Shame about the colour!! :x:- possible dodgy e-bay e-mail
