Just check to see if the Limited slip function is fully working.?? Failure of the sealed unit will allow the thick "viscous" liquid to escape in to the casing and sink to the bottom.

A good start to the season for me. Weather was dry, bright and not too hot. A challenging day for me as this was the first time I had driven on the full circuit rather that the perimeter layout of previous years. At 1450M its still not long but it does contain at least 10 corners so there is no time to relax even for a few seconds. My first session was spent learning the new part of the layout. Very few cars out with me so enough time and space to experiment. My second session was much busier and I overtook a number of cars and in turn was overtaken. On such a narrow track joint cooperation is needed for this to happen without incident. My third and final sesion semed to consist of a group of cars all about my pace so I never caught anyone and was never caught either.. That was useful and Im feeling settled with driving the new(to me) part of the track. The next Track Attack day is Jun 16 and I hope to be there. If all goes to plan with my ZR debut early Jun I should have the luxury of two cars to choose from!! Check out the couple of pics I took. There were a couple of lensmen there so maybe some action shots of me will pop up on FB soon.

Interest in track days in the club appear to be minimal so for 2019 Im just using one thread to document what Im doing. Im making a start tomorro Sat may 11. with an outing to Three Sisters Track near Wigan. I ended up going to Spain instead and didnt get back home till 1.00am on Japfest day.

Im going to the Three Sisters Track Attack this saturday IF the weather is dry. I have a day at Blyton booked with MGs on Track on Mon 3 June. That will be the first outing in my MG ZR 160 track car, although it is still not quite finished. There are some evening dates at Donington in the summer so I will probably make one or even two of them.

I fired mine up today. Reversed out of the garage. First time its moved since October. Quick wash. check fluids Check tyre pressures. Taxed it, put petrol in and went for a short drive. That reminded me what an uncivilised and harsh bit of kit my car is.:thumbdown: No good moaning tho as thats how I built it:whistling: A few miles later and all is well. Ive relearnt how to control it. All I need now is some dry weather to get out on track:thumbup1:

Good old Ryanair!! its 14 hours to take off. I have checked in for my outbound flight. I STILL get an email... "Its not too late to change your seat" on my return flight. Err no thanks I will just stick with the free seat included:biggrin:

It is always a good event...enjoy. I have made other plans so wont be there as Im not back home from Spain till after midnight on the saturday.

Well Mr O'Leary will just have to accept his loss :biggrin::biggrin:cos I wont be buying any expensive snacks on board, nor have I paid extra to choose a seat or board in the "priority boarding " queue.:tt2: It was even cheaper in Feb when I went. £42 return!!

Yes it is cheaper than taxi. Not by much but Its a 6.40am flight out to spain and I dont want the risk of a taxi not turning up for a 4.00am pick up. It happened to one of my neighbours last year. In reality the parking isnt that expensive at £58 for 11 days and it is within 5 minute walk of the terminal......so none of them silly shuttle buses.:thumbdown: Its the silly cheap flight price that makes seem expensive. Ryanair are just such great value.:yes: I will be going again late June for virtually the same price.:thumbup:

Im off to Sunny Spain for my second trip of 2019 and once again parking the car at the airport for 11 days is costing more than the return flight to Malaga!! What a crazy world. Flight £48:thumbup:.................................Parking £58:thumbdown:

Blueflame are now in Stafford and as far as I can see they only do bike exhausts now. They built my custom SWB exhaust for me back in the days when they were based in Skelmersdale. Around 2005 IIRC!! the system is still in fantastic condition on my current slicktop, having been on both my previous cars as well. They subsequently built me some custom decat pipes.

As it stands the response from Z Club members has been very poor. Hardly any cars seem to be going. Japfest clashes with the Donington historic on the same weekend which in recent years has become a big event for the Z club....."Samuri Gathering"....

The 350Z/370Z club have had a stand organised since late last year. There are already around 40 of them who have bought club tickets using their club code. The Z club have been invited to join the 350Z/370Z club on their stand. They have also stated that Im a bit confused?? We dont appear to have a stand?? Howare we going to buy tickets?

Post a complaint/query on their facebook page. That should get a response. Just spray the units with Wayoyl clear. That will protet them.
