Bloody clutch - Grr
Fitting used clutch cylinders is very often a waste of time. Just buy new. Buy the time you have bought these s/h units and paid for your mechanics extra time sodding about you could have bought new stuff, had it fitted and be driving about safe in the knowldge that new units will last virtually till the end of the cars life. False economy in the long run as there is no telling how long the used units will last. They may well be as old as the ones you are replacing and fail next week all IMO.

Availability of body panels??
These panels are currently only available from the manufacturer via Ebay. Neither Luke or Mike do them although they may still have some residual stock. You would be best to contact Mike or Luke directly for an answer. I have a pair of New arch repairs available for sale. Came with a car last year to me but not needed . Check out the "For Sale" section;)

Thinking of selling up.
At the end of the day its just another car. If you arent interested in it then just get rid. I lost interest in running/using my original blue 71 240Z, so I just sold it. I used to say Id never sell it but I did. Never had any regrets afterwards and the new owner is happy with it. Life goes on.

looks like i need a new clutch
I would take a chnce at £60 delivered for that friction plate. The use of someones ramp and a couple of mates will see it in in half a day. It may not last long and it wont take 400BHP but driven sensibly in a stock car it will be OK till you are able to fit something better. IMO

Shortest Short shifter?
:nono::nono: That wont shorten the throw!!! You have to cut and re weld lower down to alter the fulcrum point!! A short shifter has nothing to do with the length of the lever that the g knob goes on to:rant: :D:D

Shortest Short shifter?
I think basically they are all the same. Just Taiwan copies of the Stillen one. The only way to make one with a shorter throw would be to cut n shut a stock steel one ..Luke at Z Centre used to do modded ones I think. The trouble with altering the ratio any more will be the increased effort to shift the lever especially when the box is cold.

whats the real value of a standard 93 300zx tt
There is no correlation between the value of a 300ZX and the price of insurance. At least half the 300Zxs in this country are grey imports so dont feature in many databases of values.

The V8's home! (thank you Slick Pete)
LOL :slap: where did you appear from? Happy!!:nono: well It took me absolutely ages to get the bloody shell loaded. Messing about getting wheels changed. pushing the thing up his drive. The seller talks for England and took ages finding all the stuff Nick had bought from him:rant: i left my place at 9.00am and didnt get back till almost 8.00pm. What a long day:mad: It is a fab project tho and thankfully its going to be done with a proper car this time:wack:

ebay seat trim thingys?
The seller spends a lot of time on the advert talking up the product. Leatherettte??? He says its not vinyl??. Well what is it then?? Its NOT real leather he says that himself.:( He says its "Nylex"... OK then here is what Nylex Company have to say about the seating fabric they call Nylex....... So £275 for a set of vinyl(ie synthetic plastic) seat trims... Hmm ... Not for me thank you. Im used to sitting in vinyl seats in my 240Z cos that is what they are supposed to be but I wouldnt choose it otherwise. Horible & sweaty to sit in in hot weather.

Manual box...
If you have an auto ATM then you will ned a lot more bits to go manual than just a gearbox.
-
Ugly but a bargin
Not far off Si. But check out the drivers leather seat??? I see rips/wear. So no way £500 However the wheels will make up ther shortfall . You are still looking at a loss as a breaker And also the loss of 30/40 hours of time to strip it all and sell/ deliver it etc. And a Zero feedback winning bidder called bi6 nob:shock: Muhahahaha Its a crock o shite alright:D
