  1. Belongs to forum member Securicar. advertized on here too.
  2. Thats probably a good idea really................................. ........................................cos you do post up some c**p sometimes:slap: :x: :D:D:D
  3. They are in every illegal post! Just click on it and send a message to the Heavy squad who will then leap in to action. Its not as much fun as posting up like we have just done.... but it does work;)
  4. It only takes Allan 4 minutes to do IT!.:wack: :rofl:
  5. have you clicked on the red triangle Joel??? That will get some action:rofl:
  6. The rot needs to be cut out and new metal welded in. The strength of a shell will be seriously compromised if you just fill with filler. Remember your rear suspension turrets are in this area.
  7. there are no off the shelf full cages available in britain as there has never been any significant use of the 2+2 in any form of serious motorsport here. There still isnt any significant demand as John Dixons idea of a group buy flopped.. there probably are people in East anglia who will make one off cages but their background will be in off road 4x4 stuff. So they will use big heavy tubes etc. Proper motorsport fabricators will make you one as a one off but I suspect at eye watering prices. And they will need the car of course. you really need to consider 45mm bore 2.5mm wall CDS tube as the building base. that itself aint cheap and it aint common either as I have recently found out.
  8. In that case the bulkhead is kinked. probably chassis rails ,engine cross member which carries the rack etc. Will need to be jigged etc Not a simple DIY repair. If the first offer was £3000 and you value it at £4000 then there is scope to meet in the middle somewhere. dont waste time tho as Jeffs advice is very relevant re where it is now. they will be charging maybe £10 a day to store and that is coming off your payout. And you DO NEED to inform your other insurance company. Cos this accident is "a material change" in your circumstances/status as a driver/insurer . Read the small print... always.
  9. LOL!! I already know. I left you a FAO thread in Non Z related discussion a few days ago:slap: Anyway you have mail now. well soon anyway! Pete
  10. i know someone who might be interested in a rear pair with good tyres. As already said it depends on the tyre make. PM me a price etc. They/I can collect easily and pay cash.
  11. OK! Lets be serious then. .......1K laquer in a tin is horribly thin and in my experience doesnt cover well. Six coats from an aerosol will be a minimum. Also it doesnt take kindly to much compounding either, so careful with that G3.
  12. But remember Luke used to do rewelded stock ones. So your guide is reliable but not foolproof.
  13. Are you using 2K from a gun?? If so 3 will be enough, But another one extra wont hurt. If you are using 1K rattle cans then you will need about 900 coats cos its crap:slap: :x:
  14. Email me at the address in my sig. Its arrived:)
  15. and sure the recovery vehicle will be on false plates. Cos they too will be sure there are cameras. Security man??:rant: Dimwit. Just pour a gallon of petrol over his shed and set fire AFTER telling him to pay more attention to his job.:smash:
  16. I cant believe that you or anyone else would think for one micro second that this was for real. FFS. Every BMW dealer in Britain would buy this car instantly for cash if it were true and put it on their forecourt for £8k or whatever it is really worth.
  17. And thank you for that Allan. I know Kash has a bit of a wide boy reputation and was controversial when on here but comments like those removed made by someone who has probably never spoken to the guy just demean the value of this forum. Ita a long time since I met and spoke to Kash at Billing and Silversone but I found him to be polite and approachable. His car is deffo not to my style but I do respect the effort he has made to create the car .
  18. Yep a lot of money and effort has gone into Kash's car. He has had the car a long time and it is often featured on Trade stands at shows. Possibly not going to win member of the year award on this forum but Funki Sis assesment is downright rude and IMO quite uncalled for.
  19. Replacement stud posted today:D
  20. Cool! Now this needs its own thread by you Dave... titled " How to adapt a Ser 2 PTU to a ser 1 loom" Then a mod needs to put it as a sticky in the FAQ section so nobody ever needs to ask again. Nice one Dave:cool:
  21. Cheeky git!!:slap::slap: Just find that diagram;) :D:D:D
  22. I need this too pleeeeeze:hyper: The diagram that is.
