Hi guys, not been on for a while(only in passing) due to personal reasons, and have been selling the zed since the summer, but now life seems back on track coupled with the fact im not prepared to sell up for a pitance, ive decided to keep her. my zeds always been reliable just had one or too small problems, one of which has decided to rear its ugly head earlier today(see help and advice section). so rather than sell ive decided to go for a bit of a revamp, so im getting rid of the leather interior, wheels and front bumper, if anyones interested please get intouch. so for now, watch this space! cheers si

Ok, wired the handbrake wire to the earth yesterday, and was all working fine. but came to get in the car this afternoon, and battery was completely dead (with all the usual syptoms of a flat battery, dim lights etc), i jump started it, drove for an hour, switched the car off and battery was dead again. ive just noticed the earth connection on the battery was very loose, could this drain the battery at all? or have i ballsed up with the wireing on the stereo? :smw: please help!!

Just fitted a kenwood dvd/monitor but cant get a pic when dvd is on, everything else is working fine, even getting sound from dvd just no picture. there is a wire from the stereo unit that should go to the handbrake sensor, and also one to connect to the reverse sensor which i didnt think would be necesary to connect, could this be the problem? if so is there an easier way than stripping the centre console to get to the hand break sensor, could i for example use the turbo timer wire that goes to the hand break. if not which wire do i use to connect the stereo wire to? any help greatly apreciated cheers si

fook aerodynamics, seen as i dont drive my zed at 180mph, i would have to go for looks everytime and a smooth backend wins everytime..... ....well till i get bored anyway :wack:

still undecided mate, dont realy want to sell(even plannin more mods :confused: ) but all depends on if i can find a decent house to rent with at least a drive, in the area im in now.

Hi guys, looks like the time may have finaly come for me to sell my zed, ive toyed with the idea a few times in the past but couldnt bare to get rid, i love it to bits. But with a divorce looming and having to find a decent place to live on my own, running the zed is becoming a big strain on my wallet. Not sure what price to put it on the market for, i know you dont get the money back what you put into modding your motor but i have spent £6k on it(not much compared to some i know). spent it mainly on the looks. Its a '90 j-spec twin turbo manual. 85,000miles, and 11months mot. just had sensible engine mods such as chip, boost jets, apexi air filter, Ziggen de-cat exhuast, HKS dump valves, Turbo timer. Bodywork wise it has full Vielside bodykit de-wipered, de-spoilered. resprayed in gemini flip over red with gold flake. full cream leather interior with red piping, and colour coded dash(although not to everyones taste) and 18" lenso alloys. any ideas what i should put it up for sale at. cheers Si

my first motor was a black Nissan Sunny 1.8 ZX Coupe and it was ace lol(honest) mainly cos all my mates had stuff like 1litre mini metros. i had it a week and a woman with no driving licence wrote it off :headvswal oh how i cried :cry: :cry:

i should be there, try and persuade another zed owner too! hopefully see u there.
