mines been decated since i bought her, so at least 3 1/2 years. its funny though it smoked a bit at back end of last year, but all through the summer until the past couple of weeks its been fine and now its started again. maybe ive angered the god of zed for threatening to chop her in for an s15 sylvia.

F@@KIN, C@*T, W@NK, Sh!t!!!!! decided to keep my zed and add a few extra mods cosmetic and performance, but it looks like my turbo seals have gone :rant: well according to the help and advice section anyway! getting smoke for about 15mins on start up(but only first start up of the day) not forgeting i dont use it everyday) every fokin time i decide to do somethin somethin fooks up im well pissed off with it!!! :rant: cheers si :rant:

been de-catted since i bought it so at least 3 years, isnt there anyother symptoms to the seals goin like lack of boost or somethin?

could it just be condensation?

I have an hyundai accent mvi as my everyday motor, i couldnt aford to run my twin turbo zed everyday. :(

cheers bud, i may just do that. whats happening is, as im undoing the nut(the wheel is still on by the way :D ) because the nut isnt on straight as it moves down he thread of the stud, the socket is getting wedged in the hole of the wheel where the nuts go, to the point where it becomes almost imposible to turn the wheel brace it feels like its gonna snap. hope that makes sence :confused: HELP!!!

trouble with the chrome is even the smallest of dents is gona stand out like a sore thumb and after a few months it could look like the house of mirrors

Hi guys can anyone tell me what the widest possible offset is for alloy wheels on a zed with standard arches, im wanting some new alloys but i want them to come as close to inline with the arches as possible without any arch mods. also what is the widest wheels and tyres you can fit on a standard arched zed. cheers si p.s. how is ofset measured?

personaly i WOULDNT go for a flip like mine cos while it looks realy impressive in the sunshine, i dont think it does enough in normal light. hows about a satin black or a chrome for somethin diferent. im also a big fan of the two tone look.

ive just been thinking about this, i noticed when i took my wheels of the little adapters that go in the middle of the alloys came off in the wheels except one which was stuck to the hub, im thinking that i just placed the spacer over the adapter then put the wheel back on :headvswal instead of puting the adapter in the wheel first :headvswal dont know if this could be the cuase, im a foookin clutz!!! il give it a go tomoz.

yes the studs seem plenty long enough, did you need your car tracking after fitting the spacers?

well thats what i was enclined to think but its the fact that it only lasts 10mins on idle then doesnt happen again untill the next day, plus its not blue smoke. and thanks for the comment about my car :D

im getting a pale grey smoke from the exhuast on idle BUT, it starts after about 2mins then stops after about ten mins then doesnt come back till the next time its started up. its a '90 tt with 80,000miles on clock seems to be driving ok and boosting ok. cheers si

hi guys ive just fitted some 5mm wheel spacers on all 4 wheels, took it out for a spin and it drives like sh1t. the steering wheel shakes like crazy on uneven roads, and when i pulled out to overtake it felt like i was gonna lose the back end :( (but it drives ok on flat roads its as though every bump is been exajorated) could it be that the car just needs re-tracking, or could i have bought sh1te spacers. as anyone had similar probs with spacers? cheers si

luckily ive not had many probs, just a fualty MAF. Spent a few grand on mods though, mainly cosmetic.

are they not mspec sideskirts?
