Hi RobH, Get exactly the same thing and have done ever since owning my zed for the last 2 years. Have never been able to diagnose the reason for it, so I to would be interested to hear other views on how to resolve this. Cheers, Deano:)

Hi Rod, Just to let you know that I have cleaned the contacts to the ecu which were quite badly oxidised but the problem still exists. :confused: I have been advised that it could be my O2 sensors, I am going to disconnect them and try it on a long journey one day. Would be interested to hear if how you resolve this. ;) Cheers, Dean.

Hi Pete, What are the symptons that make you think you need to replace your 02 sensors....:( The reason I ask is that I have been getting a hesitation problem at about 2-3000 rpm after about 1/2 hours driving. I have been advised by a few people that it could be my 02 sensors causing this. Have you experience anything similar ???? Cheers, Dean.

Hi Stu, I have disconnected the vacumn pipe, this is the one that goes down to the original recircs but I did not cap it off. Is this the main pipe you mean??????? I have taken some photos which I will mail to you later tonight. Cheers, Dean

Sent you an email.... do you get goosehonk with these fitted. I have a had a set fitted but the I can still hear goosehonk although not quite as bad. The existing recircs are still installed with the small pipe disconnected. The recircs must still be passing by but how do I stop it presumably you can't just remove them completely. Been doing a bit of searching and have found a write up on stu(smw1) website detailing how to check and change the o2 sensors so I will be giving that a go. Cheers, Dean.

Still got the hesitation fault, see earlier in post. I have had the injector connections checked and they are all fine. Would fitting new spark plugs help any.???????? I have been told that it could be the o2 sensors playing up. :confused: :confused: Anyone know how much these are to fix and if is it a big or small job. Cheers, Dean.

Hi, The centre panel that SRRAE used is a MkII Golf GTI one. It doesnt fit exactlly into the top din but get a file or sand paper and take a little bit of the pod off and it fits. Its the closest thing you will get to fit. If you want one I have one that I was going to use. You can have it for £15.00 delivered. I also have an Autometer mechanical water temp gauge as well if your interested. Cheers Dean

Yeah... We used to have 2, a tri colour called Cassie and a blenhiem called Charlie but sadly we lost Cassie a few years ago. Still got Charlie though but he is getting on as well so is a bit slow on his feet. When he was younger he seemed to have a boundless energy and was a constant joy. Better make sure that you don't ever sit down otherwise your lap is theirs. Enjoy him. Dean
