WQell the zed has been in storage for 18 months now, I have just started it and run it to the MOT station. Got a pass with one advisory steering rack gatter looking slightly worn. Hour in the workshop all is good.

utterly utterly fed up
Take the tyre off and then split the nuts on the back with a dremmel and small cutting disc , I bet they are cross threaded. Then you can get some new bolts to fit. There is more than one way to address this problem, I hope this suggestion is helpfull and you dont end up cutting it all up and loseing a load of money for what is just a minor setback. I know you will be seeing it differently at the moment, best to sleep on it and come back in a day or two, Allan

Dad the house is in fire!
I bet this was a new type shower which is rated at 9.5kw, and the cable was only a 6mm2, rated for 8.5kw. I can this is becoming a common problem, people fiting new showers, and not thinkng about the updating of the supply to a 45amp RCD and cable replacement to 10mm2 Jeff it would be worth checking the cable if you get chance at the dist board end. 350Z classic insurance
Ahhh a broker in the house. I was debating weather to spend money on the Shorty or sell it and get a 350Z to replace it. I pay £400 on the shorty on a classic insurance. I have my no clames on the Clk 350 AMG (£609) so I dont want to start a fresh policy on a 350Z with no NCD as it would be a fortune. So in a nutshell I need another classic policy to cover the 350z if I bought one instead of the 300zx
