997 is the way to go, if you can strech the money, much better drive than the 996. I was in Porche Reading the other week as I have not decided which way to go yet. The CLK55 is fav at the moment but I still fancy a late 348 or early 355, but those are in the 30k bracket. I dont know if I could bring myself to spend that much money on a car. Allan
