  1. SFS do a hose kit I think for the water by-pass? Leave Anthony D a meesage in the traders section.
  2. Happy Birthday Dave :)
  3. Ideal for a 1st time driver
  4. Get on Cardiff Gumtree and have a look
  5. We never have a problem moving a p/x on but it's getting the right money for them that's the hard bit
  6. I'd try and convince her to go for something different. As said above, they rust really bad. I'll keep an eye out for you. I may get something in part exchange that she likes :)
  7. We buy any car is owned bythe car Supermarket who deal in a sale or return policy. The advert has got such big interest over the years and has drumed up massive business. It's a way of offering you a fairly decent price for your car (slightly above book price, which is all over the place at the moment!) to hopefully get your bum on the seat, to only be told "it's not actually worth that much, but now your hear let's see what we can do sir/madam!". Thing is it works with people who haven't got a clue and within an hour you've signed up for 5 yaers finance and packages you don't really want. I've been selling in the motor trade for 5 yrs now and yes it's getting hard, very hard. Where main dealers are struggling with p/x prices is that we call a trader for a bid and they're offering shite money for the p/x because they know they'll have trouble selling it because nobody is buying at the mo, so we can't then offer a decent price to change for the customer. Vicous circle really. I'm really not looking forward to 2012 because the way things are looking the recession is going to strike again :(
  8.:thumbup: Or he's trapped in the passenger footwell whilst looking for a fuse :)
  9. Well done lads! As of last Wed I was meant to be driving up in my Zed to see a mate competing. Bloody babysitter let me down :(
  10. Where are you based John?
  11. Lol he was robbed, there naff! Looks fairly clean tho.
  12. The new engine is linked to ther pure drive badge isn't it? The 1.5 dci was a nice drive so I'm sure the 1.6 will be fine but obviously not as much poke as the 2.0 VW. Where you going to buy it from?
  13. Sweeett!! I can't wait to get my Meister R's on :)
  14. Your right but the Qashqai 1.6-litre diesel engine with Stop/Start resulting in 119 g/km CO2 emissions isn't available until Oct 2011 so unless Anthony wants a brand new car then he's looking at a 1.5 dci. :tongue_smilie:
  15. Seeing that Nissan don't do a 1.6 dci it'll have to be the VW :tongue_smilie: I've sold the Qashqai's for 4 years, my parents even have 1. The n-tec is a nice model, the only problems they had was the rear shock absorbers but that's all been sorted now. The VW is fairly heavy on juice and from what I hear people who have bought them like them but don't love them, if you get my drift! Let me know what sort of money your looking at spending and i'll sort something out for you :)
  16. A valid point there :thumbup1: I'll definately be getting it done. I think the handling of a car is so important, especially with lodas of power! Once you've had the proper set up done post a thread up to let us know the differences :)
  17. I wish! What make is your other stuff? Is there a big difference in the handling?
  18. Godspeed are a fairly well known brand aren't they? I think when a company sells on Ebay for a fairly cheap price, it's more than likely because it's surplus stock. I'd do your homework. Research the parts you are looking at buying and see what individuals are saying about them. The DW 4 arm kit, Traction rods, tension rods, camber arms and hicas eliminator kit is only £500 and you can add the front adjustable camber arms for £160 I think? Maybe worth saving those pennies lol! I plan to get the above plus the Meister R coilovers :) Not all at once!
