  1. Cheers lads! I'll start enjoying it when I leave work at 4pm!
  2. What make upgrade are you thinking of? What's on the group buy on DBP?
  3. I've recently bought some Tein coilovers from Vodkashots and as stated in his for sale thread, they will need a good clean up! I'm thinking of stripping them down and having the springs powder coated but as for the rest of the arm I'm not sure where to start? There is a fair amount of rust so I want to take them right back and then re-spray them as close to the original look as possible. So, what cleaning aids and tools will up to doing the job, inc primers and paint etc? Cheers Matt
  4. Very lucky girl. Glad everyone is ok and it's not the whole house that went up!
  5. Why is my computer posting everything twice?! Can a mod remove 1
  6. Welcome to the club and good luck finding the right one!
  7. Good to see you back in action Ant! :) I'm definitely going to be wanting a run out once this project has finished :)
  8. Well said Lynda! I totally see where Jeff is coming from on this. I agree that if someone is listing breaker after breaker after breaker it should be looked in to and if found that the person is doing it to make a profit and NOT doing it to off load parts because they have bits left over from a project car etc then they should pay the trader fee. Matt
  9. I'm sooooo looking forward to fitting all my kit now :)
  10. Spam on it's way lol!
  11. Thought you'd like the read :)
  12. As above! You will be pushing the arms to their limit. It's a good question tho, I'm fitting all the DW arms before she's back on the road in March and have also wondered about things like this but then I'm running 8.5 up front. Do they make a big difference to the handling of the car? I've also got the Apexi coilovers to go on too. I suppose a good geometry set up will be needed too?
  13. Check this out! Make sure you read the description. I don't think the seller has anything against the chav market lol! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220926357001?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_npmv%3D3%26_trksid%3Dm570.l2736%26_nkw%3D220926357001%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1
  14. Hate it! Much prefer the old NSX
  15. Good idea but I haven't got £100 to throw away
  16. I find that comment quite insulting Sir Charles as all I'm doing is helping a fellow zeder out with something I no longer need, and I don't expect anything in return. Alex, your more than welcome mate and I look forward to seeing the finished result. :)
  17. 30 day warranty will prob cover naff all! Your not having Gap so have a 12 month warranty instead that covers all mechanical and electrical failure.
  18. It works different ways in different dealerships. Where I work, giving you a full tank of fuel and a years TAX would eat in to my profit (commission) but I've got to do it at times as a deal clincher! If I was you, I'd be more concerned about the type of warranty I'm getting on the car, what does it cover etc and for how long?. There's no harm in asking for fuel and tax (maybe 6m instead of 12?) they can only say No!
  19. I'm a car salesman so I understand it lol! It cost's us naff all to buy but we make plenty selling it :) I'd save yourself £300 and don't take it. More and more insurance companies are giving people the selling value of their car at the time of write off and not the book value, so you'll end up with more than the cars worth anyway. You take Gap insurance when your taking finance or a loan because you'll always owe more than the car is worth through the lease period. If in an accident and it's written off the company will pay the GAP between what you have left to pay to the finance company and the value of the vehicle. Read this http://www.leaseguide.com/glossary/gap-insurance.htm just change the $$$ to £££! read this too http://www.click4gap.co.uk/rti-gap-insurance.asp IT'S NOT WORTH THE MONEY ON A USED VEHICLE guys! If you do want it, source it online in your own time. You won't be refused RTI (return to invoice) it has nout to do with a credit search. HTH
  20. Sir Charles and I were talking about you earlier! We wondered where you'd got to? Hope you had a good crimbo and Happy New Year mate :) Stick with it Ant, look at your last project it was awesome (501 bhp!) Sit down and draw up a list of what needs doing and in what order and try and add a timescale to each bit your doing that will hopefully give you some get up and go to get things done, even if it's over a long period. As the lads said, sort the 200 1st, and give my bro a ring to give you a hand!
