Is the 1600 sport the proper rare one - only 100-odd built? or is that another model. Strange that its 1600L on the log book, as thats a model of its own... :wacko: I am tempted to buy an old escort off my mate's mate, its an ex rally car with full safety device roll cage, buckets, harnesses, modified crossflow engine, quickrack, spots etc, its very cheap and would be a great retro car, but its a mk3, nowhere near the sort of appeal that the early models have. :(

I've got about 20 coins, a few receipts, car park cards and phone cards, I love rummaging around to see what I can find. Another good place to search is behind the side trims in the boot and reach down behind the rear wheels - found some good tools and stuff down there that have been 'lost' over time :)
